pairing: jake sully x neytiri x tsu'tey x fem!human! reader summary: a scientist arrives on pandora (unwillingly) a year after the exile of the rda. now she must deal with the likes of a clan leader, a great warrior, and a thanator rider. word count: 3.9k
read on AO3
You eventually decided to forget your body for now and leave it to Norm to take care of it. All you were focusing on was burying yourself further into work.
Which included going back to tending to your garden by planting and replanting a few seeds and veggies. Then there was checking up on the baby who was bound to be due soon, youâd spend the last few hours of the day with her until eventually, you forced yourself to sleep in the Avatar Compound.
That was your schedule throughout the next couple of days. Along with that, you took on more work to distract yourself such as restocking more link shacks and taking care of the land along with the other avatars. It was one of the many deals the humans made with the People in exchange for letting them stay instead of going into exile. It kept you busy whenever you didnât need to tend to your garden. Any free time that you happened to have wouldâve been filled up with something else to keep you busy.
The only peace you got was at the end of the day when you were in the tank room.
âIâm sorry Iâve been gone, little one.â You said to her the first night you returned to Hellâs Gate. âI was unfortunately a bit distracted. But now Iâm here and Iâm never leaving you that long again. That is, until youâre born of course.â
There was a subtle shift in the stomach, bringing you a slight sense of comfort that she still remembered your voice. You didnât know why it was comforting though. You wouldnât be the one to hold her in the end. You probably wouldnât be able to see her much once she was with her rightful parentsâŚ
Stopâstop.
Then there was foraging.
You enjoyed wandering around the forest to both discover new things and become well acquainted with the familiar routes. Going to your motherâs grave, finding the shack you had been trapped in, and even venturing further out just to see what was out there. Things youâve missed.
It wouldâve been nice if there was some comfort to all of it. But it made you forget. Made you think less. That was enough for now.
Until you eventually had to return to the clanâs base for Moâatâs checkups. And not wanting to anger the Tsahik, you went anyway despite your reservations about it. All you could do was pray you didnât run into Jake during the short visit.
So when you saw Tsuâtey with his brother inside her hut, you were strangely relieved which quickly made your stomach churn at the very thought.
His brother, Arvok, noticed you first as Moâat was working on his abdomen. Surprisingly, he offered a white yet tired smile your way, âAh, my savior the dreamwalker! I thought I was dreaming before.â
He ended up sitting up a bit as he spoke but Moâat forced him to lie back down, âHold still.â
âNo need to thank me. It was nothing.â You mumbled, face impenetrably impassive.
âNothing?! I heard you died because you saved me. How is that nothing?â Arvok sat up a little again only for his head to be forced back down by an irritated Tsahik.
You tried not to acknowledge the younger maleâs words. Tsuâtey watched you for a beat before nudging Arvokâs shoulder gently, âMawey, tsmukan.â
Not bothering to try and understand what he had said, you muttered again, this time sternly, âAs I said, it was nothingâfrankly, you should be more worried about yourself and the person who stabbed you.â Finding the new topic, you quickly steered the conversation in that direction. âBy the way, who injured you in the first placeââ
âThat is none of your concern,â Tsuâtey said simply with his face somewhat screwed into his usual scowl.
You nodded expectantly, âYeah, I thought so.â
Arvok then nudged his arm, hissing at him in Naâvi. Tsuâtey didnât appear happy but spoke again, âIt is clan business. Something that you should not concern yourself with. You have been too involved enough as it is.â
âHa!â Moâat huffed earning a glare from the Oloâeyktan. She did not offer more and continued tending to Arvok.
âWell,â You frowned, clenching and unclenching your hands. By then you realized you were still standing while the other three were much closer to the ground. âI did get poisoned by this clan business but youâre right. I suppose it is none of my concern.â
At this, Moâat finally stood and scowled at the two of youâmore specifically Tsuâtey, âIf this is how your interactions will be during this time, then I must ask you to leave and come back when you are ready to speak with her correctly.â She gestured for Arvok to sit upâalbeit slowlyâand dismissed him, âYou must continue resting. It will be a long while before you can hunt again.â
âYes, Tsahik.â With a grumble, Arvok slowly pushed to his feet, the wince clear on his youthful features. But he looked better. Better than you had expected someone to have been stabbed to look. Then again, Moâat mustâve been working on him while you had been unconsciousâdeadâso he had time to get better.
He held his abdomen gingerly as he walked past you, sending you a quick nod before he finally left. âYou!â At that, your attention turned back to Moâat who was now pointing at the spot Arvok had been, âSit. Now.â
Obediently you sunk to the floor and allowed Moâat to start her work on you. Tsuâtey surprisingly didnât leave and just lingered in the background much to your dismay. But your body wasnât tense because of his presence. You were constantly glaring at the doorway, waiting for him to show up at that point, waiting with your guard up, waiting for yet another fight with that damned asshole.
âYou shouldnât be putting so much strain on this arm. You should be resting as well, let yourself get adjusted to your new body.â Moâat instructed sternly as she applied new green mush to your arm.
You winced, both at the subtle sting in your arm and the easy way she mentioned your transference. As if it was another day. You couldnât tell whether that pissed you off or made you quite relieved that at least someone was making a huge deal out of it. Youâd already cried everything out of your system. Now you just wanted to allow yourself to feel numb.
Just until everything came back up again. If it ever would.
In the corner of your eye, Tsuâtey shifted onto the mat further behind you.
Moâat pressed her hand against your arm, âHave you buried your former body yet?â
You chewed on the inside of your cheek, âWhy are you asking me that now?â
âSome questions will be hard to answer. It is the way of life.â She replied easily as she began unwrapping the bandage on your shoulder. âBut it is okay to not be ready. Are you not read, dreamwalker?â
âSure.â It was all you offered.
You left the body to Norm now. You made him swear not to tell you where he planned on putting it. And you were okay with that.
You were fineâyou were fineâyou were fineâ
Eventually, after enduring a long silenceâwhich you were quite comfortable withâMoâat finished and stood. You moved to get up as well but she pressed her hand down on your shoulder and shook her head, âYou speak with Oloâeyktan first. Then you leave.â
With that, she stepped out of the hut and you, after great reluctance, looked over your shoulder at Tsuâtey to find him slightly sitting hunched over on the ground, playing with something in his fingers.
You werenât going to speak first. He wanted to speak with you. You would wait for him.
And eventually he did, âWhen Moâat brought up the potentialâthat you could be our fourth mateâwhat did you think?â
The question startled you. It was the last thing you ever thought heâd ask. And the fact that it was Tsuâtey himself asking you this and not Neytiri or hell, even Jake.
But you remained on guard anyway, âDo you care?â
At that, he raised his gaze from whatever was in his hands to look at you, âMany people have made their opinions known about the matter. All but you. Itâs as if your voice is drowned out by an unforgiving storm. I am asking you, dreamwalker. What do you think of it?â
For a moment you considered your words carefully. The conversation wasnât adversary so you lowered your defense, only by a little bit. And as you thought about your answer, you realized you hadnât even had the chance to think about what you truly thought about the idea of being their fourth mate. Neytiri had mentioned them looking for one long ago but you never imagined it would be you. You never imaginedâ
You never imagined youâd be loved.
And because of that, it was simply never in the cards for you. Even if there were moments where youâ
âWhy does it matter anyway?â You glared down at your fingers, watching as your nails dug into your palms. âCan you honestly imagine us as mates? I mean have you thought about it yourself? Can you even imagine Jake and I as mates? After the other night? Tsuâtey, I think the answerâs pretty clear.â You faced him, jaw tight and your voice quiet despite your steeled spine, âIâm too broken. And it would be cruelâI am not cruel and Iâm not selfish enough to allow you three to drag yourselves to the bottom because of me. And thatâs what I think. Itâs quite simple actuallyââ
âTo your human mind, yes.â Tsuâtey shook his head and stood, turning his back to you. He paced for a moment, eyes searching the room until he finally spoke. âBut it is about duty. If Eywa has favored you then I must do my job as Oloâeyktan and honor that. If you are our fourthââ
âYou donât know that.â
âYou are right, I do not!â He hissed but stopped, almost as if he were restraining himself.
You clenched your hands together again, glaring down at the matted floor. For a moment, the two of you were silent. This had to be the longest conversation you and Tsuâtey had ever had. And of course, it was about something heavy, something complicated, something difficult to even comprehend. Why couldnât it have been something simple? Why couldnât things be simple?
âI have failed my people.â
A beat went by and you looked up, wondering if that was all he had to say only to find his gaze on you. Intense and yellow. Unreadable yet uncomfortable to receive, nonetheless.
But his face was gentle as he spoke. His voice was quieter, âAnd in some ways, I feel I have failed our Great Mother. I feel I have failed my mates. My son. My unborn children. My mother. My brother. My father. Perhaps you do not understand it, dreamwalker, but it is my sworn duty to do what I must for my clan. To be the leader that they deserve. And I am not.â He stepped forward until he was standing in front of you and dropped something into your hands.
It was pretty. A handwoven string of beads and gems, almost too gorgeous to belong to someone like you. You held it limply in your hands, not wanting to touch it any further.
âI am not a good mate.â He continued, now his face unreadable. You werenât really sure what yours looked like at the moment but you hoped it didnât convey what you felt at the moment as he spoke.
Utter dread. Shock. And pity.
âIf I had proposed to you, I would have thought that I had done right by the Great Mother.â
He said it so simply. Proposed? Tsuâtey? To you? How come he didnât appear affected when he said these words? Why was it you that was struck frozen by this revelation?
Perhaps he was good at hiding it. Perhaps you were too.
Tsuâtey knelt in front of you and looked down at the string, his face still a mask. âI would take care of you, just as I do with my other mates. I would treat your children as my own, I would be okay with not being in love with you for the sake of duty.â Unconsciously, your fingers wrapped around the string as you took in his words. Very deliberate, very careful, very real. âBut you would have said no. And I would be okay with that too. Because I cannot commit to my duty. Because I am a bad Oloâeyktan. AndâŚâ The words seemed difficult to spill out from his mouth but he forced it out anyway. âAnd I am not cruel enough either, dreamwalker.â
For a moment, you did not say a thing. For a moment, you wondered if you were dreaming. For a moment, you wondered if there could be a world where you and Tsuâtey werenât hostile to each other like now. You wondered if there could be a world where youâd look at him as something more.
Because in the end, you appreciated his honesty. Frankly, that was one of the best things you liked about the Naâvi. They werenât like humans. They didnât hold anything back because they didnât see a reason to.
And it made your next words clear and firm, âYour search for worthiness isnât on me, Tsuâtey. And a proposal definitely wouldnât have been able to fix that.â You frowned and glanced down at the string and then back at him, âThat wasnât a proposal, right?â
Tsuâtey stood then, his tail swishing behind him. âI suppose it was. In a way.â He looked at you expectantly, âAnd your answer, dreamwalker?â
He held a look that told you he already knew your answer. You stood as well and handed him back the beaded string with yet another impassive mask, âNo. That is my answer. But you knew that.â
Wordlessly, he took the beads back, his gaze never leaving it. You stood there for a moment, feeling exhausted once more. And again, Tsuâtey allowed himself to appear the same.
Too tired for this world. Too tired to carry on.
You steeled yourself away and stood straighter, âSo you agree. This isnât what Eywa wanted.â
At that, his ears twitched, âWe do not know what she wants. It has always been that way. And it will remain so.â
Nodding, you moved past him and toward the entrance, only to stop short. Your brain was muddled, your emotions were tangled, and yet you spoke clearly. âIf your deity is as great as you all say she is, then Iâm sure she wouldnât want you to suffer.â
Without waiting for a response, you left. Not daring to look back. Not daring to ponder questions youâve never thought about until now.
Enough. Enough of all of it.
âAny day now.â You mumbled, staring bleakly down at the table as Norm was checking the ultrasound. It was weird being several inches taller than him now when in human form he had quite the height over you, âWe just have to watch her closely now.â
Norm nodded, âGood, good. Thatâs great news. Iâll let the parents know. You good staying here for a bit?â
âAlways.â You watched over the tank as Norm left the room. Tucking the tablet under your arm, you placed your hand against the class, âCanât wait to meet you, finally. I wonder if youâre gonna be as quiet when youâre born.â
The silence was suffocating, and So were the tears. They had finally come.
God, you were so angry.
Was this really all you were worth? An obligation? Something so worthless that you needed empty protection? Was that all they saw in you? Was that all youâll ever be to them?
You sank into a nearby chair, allowing the silent tears to fall.
It wasnât what you wanted. You didnât want to be the outsiderâthe intruder. All you wanted was to save a bunch of trees and now youâre here. A stain. An inconvenience. Blood red on a perfect white canvas.
This baby girl didnât deserve someone as shattered as you. She deserved the loving parents that claimed her from the beginning. Protected and kept away from your storm.
âI hope this world doesnât hurt you, little one.â You wiped at your eyes, beaten and bruised already.
Norm eventually came back moments later. You hadnât gotten up from the chair. He saw your dried tears and cleared his throat, âJake said heâs already on his way, um,â He appeared careful and gentle as he spoke, âIâll take over if you need a break.â
âYou donât have to.â Was your attempt at a protest.
But he shook his head adamantly, âNo, I will. Youâveâitâs been pretty rough for you. Itâs the least I can do forâŚâ
You frowned as he avoided your gaze.
âI couldâve done betterâmore to save youââ
âSpellman, you're fine,â You shook your head and stood. âI donât blame youâcouldnât if I wanted to. Youâre the only one that has my back here. Well, maybe besides Neytiri.â
âAre you going then?â He asked as you walked passed him.
âYeah, Iâm gonna try to cool off. Maybe go on a walk.â
âYou sure? Donât get another chunk of your skin bitten off again. Or poisoned.â
âHa-ha.â You responded dryly.
Deciding you wanted fresh air, you left out of Hellâs Gate and went into the forest.
You had marked the places you passed with small white strips in the past, tying them to smaller branches. It allowed you to venture further away from the base this time. And by the time the sun began to set, you found yourself at the waterfall, the same one you were at with Tsuâtey before.
And you stayed there. This time you went toward the waterfallsâ mist surrounding you the closer you got to the waterfall itself. The water moved up toward your waist until you were practically floating above water.
For a while, you stayed like this. Until night came. You stayed like this until your hair stuck to the back of your neck.
Eventually, you passed through the waterfall. Breathing out a long and delicate sigh.
These waters relaxed you. These waters made you forget.
Once you reached the other side of the waterfall, there was a rock large enough for you to hoist yourself on. And sit there. You didnât know how long youâd stay there and you didnât care. The world outside of this place didnât matter to you. For a while, you just wanted to forget. To become stone.
Half alive and half buried in the ground.
That is until the world called for you to come back. Until the world wrapped its grip on you and yanked you back into reality.
Until something whizzed past your face, cutting some of the strands from your unbraided hair.
And now across from you was a spear lodged into the stone. Whoever had thrown it had great strength. Whoever had thrown had meant to kill you.
Instantly, you froze. Heart pounding against your chest, blood rushing to your ears.
âDemon!â AN unfamiliar voice shouted further awayâpossibly on land away from the waterfall. Quickly, you lowered yourself on the rock. Most of the water from the mountain and mist hid you, so there was a chance that the attacker couldnât see you. âCome out and I kill you!â
You didnât move from the rock. From what little you could hear, the voice spoke in Naâvi as if he was giving orders to someone. Which meant this guy wasnât alone. The many splashes coming toward you only confirmed that.
As quietly as possible, you slid off the rock and toward the spear, yanking it out of the wall with what little strength you had left. A shadow then passed you as you ducked behind the rock just as a figure stepped through the waterfall. He was wearing strange armor and his war paint was different from what you had seen the Omatikaya wear. Which also told you that these warriors that surrounded you were from a different clan. A clan you were sure that werenât reluctant in having to kill the likes of you for being human.
The warrior had an arrow pointed and ready. Fortunately, he hadnât seen you yet.
But before you could take your chance at escape, a quicker shadow to the right dived through the falls, aiming another spear at you.
It was so quick, you hadnât heard the other warrior coming and barely dodged the sharp end of her spear as you slid off the rock and into the deep waters.
The spear didnât slow and sunk into the water with you. You swam away from the two, going deeper underwater until you werenât able to be spotted. You continued swimming away from the small enclave and made it to the other side of the waterfalls.
Praying that the mist continued to cover you up, you came up for air and climbed onto a nearby rock. You still had the discarded spear and gripped it in your hands as you hopped onto another rockânot even stopping when you heard a bunch more splashes and shouts in Naâvi coming toward you.
Once you were sure they were far enough away from you, you continued hopping on the rocks until you finally reached land. But you didnât run, knowing that it would make too much noise. Instead, you clutched the spear to your chest and slinked into the forest, just as how Neytiri had done it when the two of you would travel through the forest together.
Be one with the forest and all that shit.
God, you couldnât catch one break. First Jake, then Tsuâtey, and now this? It was like the universe hated you for some reason.
As quickly and as quietly as possible, you put some distance between you and the waterfall. When you got far enough, you ducked behind a thick tree, pressing your back against it while taking in shaky breaths. You kept the spear close to your chest as if it were a shield while praying that you had been quiet enough to escape.
Something sharp pressed against the side of your neck, instantly squashing any hope you had left.
âYou are loud, demon.â She spoke in Naâvi. It was one of the only sentences you recognized since Neytiri used to say it to you all the time in the beginning.
You remained still, staring at the warrior in the corner of your eye.
She took the spear from your hands and tossed it to the ground, not lowering hers.
âWhere is your clan, sawtute?â
Okay, she spoke a little English. Which meant this clan had lived around humans at some point,.
âI donât have a clan.â You gritted out shakily, âAnd Iâm not trespassingââ
âDemon! All of you!â She hissed, the tip pressing further into your skin. âI kill you and bring your head back to my clan. The rest of you demons will follow!â
You glanced toward the spear on the ground, trying to figure out how fast youâd have to move to get it and escape.
But you nor the warrior didnât get a chance to do anything as an arrow flew through the trees and hit the warrior in her shoulder.
She stumbled back, you took the chance and grabbed the spear from the ground.
As the warrior fell to her knees, your savior stood further away behind her. Bow raised with another arrow pointed at her.
You breathed out shakily, âItâs you.â

Scent
Pair: Tsu'tey x Human Reader ( jake human sister )
Warning: A little spicy, tsu'tey (in my opinion) being curious.
Note: Me posting something, knowing I've ignored my tumblr for months. Bye~!
After the war, life for tsu'tey had been very quiet. Everything was back to normal, well almost everything. A large number of humans decided to settle in Pandora and close to the clan. The idea of having humans among the clan was not pleasant to him, for him they were a bit unpleasant. They were strange, everything they did was strange to him. And the most disturbing thing to him was the scent the humans gave off. The Na'vi had a highly developed sense of smell and the strange scent of humans was not pleasant for him. They always tried to use some scents to disguise their scent of origin, according to Jake it was âperfumes and soapsâ. Tsu'tey didn't think it was cool to use those things. But there was one scent which had caught all his attention. And the owner of that scent came from you.
The first time tsu'tey registered your scent, was when he happened to pass by jake's side. He was talking to one of those humans. But as soon as he walked by you, he stopped dead in his tracks. The scent he was smelling was something⌠amazing. He felt a shiver run down his spine, he couldn't understand where the smell was coming from. It wasn't until jake tapped him on the shoulder, and introduced them. Tsu'tey turns to look at you. You smiled warmly back at him, giving him the 'I see you' sign. Tsu'tey caught on a little too late, he was so immersed in the scent you were giving off that he barely listened to what Jake was saying. He couldn't believe that you were the carrier of that peculiar scent. From that day on, tsu'tey did everything he could to be by your side.
It got to the point that he didn't care about the comments they made, it was strange to see a man like tsu'tey behind a human. Always trying to help you, or try to talk to you even for a couple of seconds, he had to smell your scent at least once a day. He was becoming obsessed, and if his little obsession was not dying down. He began to notice how your scent became stronger when he was around you. It had to be that reason, because on one of the occasions he came to talk to you. You were talking to neytiri, and he could feel how your scent was the usual one. But as soon as neytiri left you alone, he could feel it getting more and more potent. He was going crazy and he knew it. It wasn't healthy, what he was creating for you. You were supposed to be a human, he wouldn't have to find you attractive or desirableâŚbut here he is. If you asked him to kiss your feet he would do it, even if you asked him to kill someone and let him put his nose in your neck sweet spot for only 5 minutes or less, he would do it.
On the other hand, you were oblivious to this situation. You thought tsu'tey was very kind and gentlemanly. He was always helping you, and available to you. You liked the attention he gave you. BesidesâŚtsu'tey was painfully handsome. You liked him from head to toe, you found him beautiful. And having him this close wasn't helping you much. But you enjoyed his companyâŚthere was just a nice friendship between the two of you.
That particular day, tsu'tey could smell your scent from far away, he could tell you were about 30 feet away from him. And he could recognize it was you, turning around to see you approaching him with a basket in your hands. âHello!!!â you greet him, smiling at him. You were hurting his senses, because if it were up to him he would have already dragged you into his arms. You looked very pretty, in the traditional na'vi clothing. Tsu'tey scanned you up and down, laughing a little. âDo you like it? Neytiri gave me this outfitâŚshe made it for meâ you speak, taking a quick turn. âI'm surprised at how well it suits you âtsu'tey says, looking at you again. But now with more determination, the little clothing gave freedom to your scent to be released all over the place, he was getting nervous. âYeahâŚshe says I should wear more family stuffâŚyou know, since jake is my brother and he is nowâŚâ you stop talking, when you notice that the man is barely paying attention to you. âTsu'teyâŚare you okay?â you ask, waving your hand in his face. Snapping tsu'tey out of his stasis. He laughs nervously, settling more on his feet. âYes, sorry. You were saying?â tsu'tey sees you laugh.
âI was going to ask you if you could help me pick some berriesâŚthe ones near the river. You know they're a little tallâŚand I need helpâ you speak, tsu'tey doesn't think for a second and goes to help you. Getting up from the ground, he starts walking towards the river. The walk from the village to the river was about 15 minutes. When you arrived you both decided that the best thing to do was to pick the berries that were on top of some branches, besides it was much more private for you. Your very presence in the clan could be a bit intimidating for some na'vi. And this was an area where they used to come frequently. Tsu'tey helped you up, placing his hands on your waist, to get you up easily. But not before bringing his face close to your back, sniffing you. Closing his eyes, enjoying your scent. It was a momentary thing, when you climb up the branch. âAre you coming?â you keep walking towards where the berries were. âYesâŚI'm comingâ tsu'tey swallows hard, trying to control himself.
Tsu'tey helps you for a while, picking the prettiest berries that were on the highest leaves. Sitting down to rest, and to watch you pick in the other corner. You turn and give him a smile. Tsu'tey smiles back. Aside from the fact that the man was obsessed with your essence, he liked the way you were. You were the opposite of your brother. You were calm and quiet. You didn't do risky things and avoided getting into trouble. Tsu'tey enjoyed your company, and he was sure you did too. He could feel it. âThese berries are so sweetâ you speak, approaching where tsu'tey was sitting. âYesâŚand this is their best seasonâ tsu'tey speaks, but is puzzled when you sit down in front of him. You sit in front of him, cross-legged. This new position makes your scent much stronger than at other times. Freezing in his seat, his eyes widen.
However, you keep talking as if nothing is wrong. You are placing the basket next to you, taking some berries to clean them. You can tell, you were the only one talking, tsu'tey might be silent, but he wasn't talking at all. You look up and you can see that he was different. He was looking at you seriously, his pupils were dilated, his posture was straight, his ears were up and so was his tail. You could notice that his breathing was agitated, and although his look seemed to be one of discomfort⌠you knew it was not. It was one more of lust, you could see how he was swallowing hard. âTsu'tey?â you speak softly, getting her attention.
âWhat's wrong with you? Are you ok?â you ask, tsu'tey doesn't answer you, and keeps looking at you. Analyzing your whole body, your scent was ambushing him. It was too strong for him, too sweet. And now with your new outfit you were not helping him. âWhy do you smell like that?â says tsu'tey in a serious tone. You grow more nervous, closing your legs out of instinct. The look on tsu'tey's face at this moment was intimidating, but not in the bad way. âI have a bad smell?â you begin to smell your hand, as you watch tsu'tey approach you. Placing his hands on the ground of the branch, leaning a little over you. To now be much closer to you. âDon't do itâ tsu'tey places his hand on your knee, moving it to the side. Causing your legs to spread for him. You watch as he closes his eyes, and sighs deeply. Your heart wanted to pound out of your chest, he was getting so much closer to you. âYou have a scentâŚdeliciousâ tsu'tey moves over your body, getting closer to your neck. Pressing his nose to your neck, breathing deeply. Words didn't come out of your mouth, you were surprised tsu'tey didn't use to behave like this with you. Well with anyoneâŚand now he was almost on top of you. Balancing on his hands, sniffing your neck.
Tsu'tey felt so out of control, it was like he couldn't control what he was doing. He was feeling anxious, he wanted to know where that scent that was driving him crazy was coming from. Slowly moving down as he sniffed your skin, down your chest until he reached your breasts. Breathing hard again, to continue, the only thing you could do was to stay still. -T-tsuâ your voice is interrupted when you see that tsu'tey had already reached your lower belly, stopping for a moment. At this moment tsu'tey was crouched over you, very close to his goal. He gave you a quick glance, and if you had to be realistic his look was one of hunger. As if no one could stop him, though you didn't plan to. Tsu'tey wouldn't get that far, would he. It was then, when he decided to go a little lower. First you thought he was going to smell one of your thighs. But you were wrong, when he went down he parked his face completely in your clothed cunt.
...
...
Your eyes widen in surprise, as you feel him breathing much harder than before. In a quick movement you move your foot towards tsu'tey's face and kick him in the face. This makes him move away. âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â you yell at him, this is all taking you by surprise. You liked tsu'tey but no one has ever behaved like this before. âWhat's wrong? I'm just sniffing youâ speaks tsu'tey caressing his face a little bit. âWhat for? And why are you sniffing meâŚthereâ you close your legs slowly, but you see how tsu'tey stops you. âDon't close your legsâŚthis is where that rich smell is coming fromâ tsu'tey says, laughing playfully. âOh my god, no noâ you close your legs tightly. âYou're talking about the smell of my parts?â you were more concerned now. âI'm talking about your whole scent, I've never smelled someone with this scent before. No na'vi woman has a scent like thisâŚit's excitingâ tsu'tey speaks a little excited. You had never seen him like this, he looked like someone else. He was still very close to you, now he had come completely over you. You were looking up, observing his whole body attitude.
âI have noticed that when I am close to youâŚor when I touch youâ tsu'tey lowers his voice, raising his hand to now touch your thigh, caressing your exposed skin a little. âI can notice how the smell gets strongerâŚand I love thatâ tsu'tey lowers his face, moving closer to your face. You push him back, causing tsu'tey to sit back down. You were so embarrassed, tsu'tey was talking about the excitement you felt towards him, like it was nothing. You wanted to bury yourself alive, you were getting so nervous, you didn't know what to say or do to him. âTsu'teyâŚbut you must not approach him like that. You must askâ you looked down, tsu'tey was looking at you playfully. He is silent for a moment, seeing how you are a little nervous. Squeezing your legs together so nothing would come out. âSoâŚcould I smell you a little? âtsu'tey asks. You knew that the attitude tsutey was showing was something without mischief, something he wasn't doing on purpose. It was instinctive on his part.
âI don't know what to tell youâŚwe barely know each other, and yes I really like youâ you try to change what you just said but there was a lot going on right now. âI meanâŚwe should wait, yeah?you know what I mean?â you try to make him understand you, it's not like you didn't want tsu'tey between your legs. But it was still too early for that. âOk⌠but can I be closer to you?â asks tsu'tey again. You nod with your face, watching as he moves closer to now be literally glued next to you. His tail began to dig into your waist, and he kept looking at you.
Oh my goshâŚwhere have you gotten to. You had to explain to tsu'tey that personal space in humans is much more important than he thinks.

Sleeping Beauty - Jake & Tsu'tey

Part of the Sleeping Beauty Series (all stand-alone)
inspo
Pairing: Jake Sully/Fem!Reader/Tsu'tey
Word Count: 2k+
Warnings: NSFW, 18+, minors dni, somnophilia, bi!Jake, dom!Tsu'tey, unprotected p in v (wrap it, you skxawngs), biting, swearing, surprise threesome, creative use of Na'vi words to avoid saying Y/n, oral (male receive), reader gets Eiffel-towered, reader is a bit of a masochist, creampie, Tsu'tey!lives au, Tsu'tey is olo'eyktan and Jake is just Toruk Makto.
A/n: Surpriiiiise! I feel like this one isn't as long as the last but I was almost desperate to push this out. I hope it's okay.
Also, I'm not gonna keep writing a 'Na'vi Words Used' section đ Google is free, and this provides a browser that helps you quickly type in a word to find out what it means. Enjoy!

Jake knew from the very beginning that you had some sort of infatuation with Tsu'tey, but you would rather die than admit it.Â
After all, you were with Jake, and in Na'vi terms you were mated for life. In human terms, you were married, and it made Jake extremely happy knowing that no matter what shape or form the two of you were in, you loved him no matter what and he loved you. When he decided that he wanted to pass through the Eye of Eywa and permanently transfer his subconscious into his avatar's body, you fully supported his decision. It helped that you had an avatar of your own, so you could still be a part of his world and occasionally return to yours if need be. You've only ever wanted him to be happy, and you always loved him, in and out of that damn wheelchair.
He knew you loved him, more than anything, but he catches the way you look at the clan's olo'eyktan from time to time. He knew you would never act on it. What you felt was just interest, nothing more, because you only wanted Jake at the end of the day. But then again, Jake was also just as curious as you, and if you weren't going to do anything about it, he was going to be the one to make the first step.
"Isn't she a doll? I mean, she almost is in the literal sense. A silent, inanimate object and pliable for me to play with however I want."
Tsu'tey didn't say anything in response, too caught up in watching the way Jake's large cock pushed into your squelching heat, the sound filling the kelku. The fact your avatar's body reacted according to Jake's touch without you possessing it had the Na'vi man completely transfixed from where he crouched near your head, a barely caged primal desire swimming in his yellow eyes. Watching how your lower lips, covered in your slick, spread, and pucker to stretch and accommodate Jake's unnatural size (thank you, labcoats), Tsu'tey's tail flicks with contained interest that was definitely questioning every rational thought.
He knows he shouldn't be here... but he had been thinking about this for months and not even Eywa could persuade him to look the other way after Toruk Makto was adamant about how both you and him wanted Tsu'tey.
Jake wasn't deterred by Tsu'tey's silence, knowing that if the olo'eyktan didn't want to be here, he wouldn't have followed Jake here after being invited. The two of them had gone out hunting that day and Jake thought it would be the perfect time to bring up his little... proposition.
Focusing back on the unconscious body beneath him, Jake grabs your avatar's hips with both hands and continues to gradually thrust inside of your pussy. Your body was already so tight and naturally became aroused and slicked up by the time Jake was done stretching you with his fingers. It took every ounce of self-control for him not to fuck you like an animal to his own completion when you look this enticing. Nothing was boring about your sex life, but with Tsu'tey's intimidating gaze watching his every move as Jake pumped in and out of your tight heat, something really hot and angry began to stir deep in Sully's stomach.
He lets out a punctured grunt, a wave of adrenaline coursing through him from the excitement of it all, a grin slowly plastering over his lips, glancing back up at Tsu'tey, "She lets me do this a ton, you know. She loves it. You would have never guessed she was such a minx, huh?"
Tsu'tey's ears twitch with that same intrigue, pupils further blown wide with barely contained desire, trying to ignore the growing strain of his loincloth.Â
Jake's grin falters for a moment when your pussy grips him tight, a groan spilling from his lips and falling open in a silent gasp as his eyebrows pinch together in pleasure. He struggles to find his words again, huffing between sentences as everything else drains to his groin, "She said she was going to link up around this time. 'Should be waking up right... about..."
The first thing that moved was your avatar's eyebrows, scrunched closely together as your eyelashes fluttered. Tsu'tey watches as a soft flush rises up your body, reaching your face just as you open your eyes, pupils blown out of proportion as a soft, quiet whimper is pulled from your lungs. Your hands instinctively fly up to graze and scratch at Jake's tight chest and tummy when you feel that familiar sensation of an approaching orgasm.
"Oh, fuuuuck..." you moan out, tilting your head back as you close your eyes once more.
A deep, low chuckle reverberates from Jake's throat while staring down at you, slowing his thrusts until he's only grinding, the friction of his pelvis against your clit sending your growing moans to ricochet throughout the marui, "Hey, baby. Glad you could join us."
"Us?" You breathlessly question, managing to catch the choice of words. Looking around, you suddenly realize you and your husband are not alone. Craning your neck up, you find a familiar Na'vi crouching above your head, your eyes widening, "Tsu'tey?"
His eyes, so hard and intimidating like the rest of his physique, always piercing into your soul... had a lilt of something else that now pierced something deep in your abdomen and caused your warm and wet walls to flutter around Jake's cock. While Jake softly curses under his breath, biting his lip to stay quiet, Tsu'tey's eyes never leave yours even as his hand brushes over his straining loincloth to try and relieve the pressure, "Sevin..."
Any initial horror or embarrassment you might have felt at the thought of another man seeing you naked and being properly fucked started to melt and drift out of your mind the moment your eyes glanced down to the olo'eyktan's crotch. You now shamelessly watch and even feel a small ping of pride as Tsu'tey's clothed cock unexpectedly jumps under your attention.
Feeling some level of satisfaction now that you understood what was going on, you quickly replaced your shock with a smug smile as your eyes turned up to Jake, "You really wanted to spice things up that badly, huh?"
The grinding immediately halted and you whine loudly from the loss of friction. Jake smirks down at you, strong hands gripping the flesh underneath your knees, "Maybe I was just tired of watching you drool after Tsu'tey without doing anything about it."
"Like you acted any better," you found yourself snarling back in the midst of your sexual frustration.
Tsu'tey surprised even himself when he scoffed in amusement, attracting the attention of the couple in front of him. With both sets of "demon" eyes on him, the Na'vi man felt a warmth swirling deep in his gut, his own eyes slowly traveling down to the spot where yours and Jake's bodies connected, almost as if he appreciated the view.Â
The expression on the olo'eyktan's face was not lost to Jake, who smiled with a hidden arrogance as he slowly dragged his hips back, pulling his hard cock completely out of your squelching heat, shiny from your juices, the loss of fullness forcing a broken whimper to escape your throat. Without warning, Jake grabbed your hips and flipped your over, gently smacking your ass until you got the message and moved to lean forward on your hands and knees, gasping from the sting of his hand that would definitely leave a mark in the morning.Â
Jake moved to press himself up against your ass, idly twirling your tail around his veiny forearm and giving it a firm tug, "Why don't you put that mouth to work for Tsu'tey if you're just going to be a smartass, huh?"
You whine, feeling so degraded, and yet your body feels like it's on fire. Keeping yourself upright on your hands and knees, you flip your hair over to one shoulder and look up at Tsu'tey through hooded eyelashes, your face flushed and your lips shining wet from rolling your tongue over them as you watch his tight loincloth begin to dampen with precum. When you peer up at the silent warrior, your eyes lock and you can't help the way your mouth gradually falls open, poking your tongue out like a welcoming invitation that makes Tsu'tey's balls tighten.
The growl that leaves his throat softly echoes throughout the marui, and your pulsating walls clench around nothing, a flutter of arousal making its presence from such a sound. Finally, Tsu'tey unties his loincloth and both you and Jake shamelessly watch his cock spring up to attention once released from its confinements. He's not as big as Jake, but he's still long with a small barb leaking precum at the tip, which flushes an angry dark purple.
He doesn't waste any more time, not when you look so enticing. He grabs a hold of your chin, harshly, and squeezes until you're forced to hold your tongue all the way out, the dominance making your belly stir. He grips his cock with his free hand, angrily pumping himself with a few, firm strokes as his dark, gold eyes keep you frozen in your spot, your spine tensing with anticipation. Tsu'tey gently slaps his leaking tip against your tongue for a moment and you bring the appendage back in your mouth, moaning at the taste of him before you roll it back out for more.
Tsu'tey looked up and met Jake's gaze, and whatever Sully saw swimming in those same orbs made the muscles in his stomach clench. You can feel Jake twitch against your entrance and you whine while pushing back against him for more, all the while keeping your mouth wide open and panting like a bitch in heat, your warm breath fanning over Tsu'tey's length. The olo'eyktan groans lowly, eyes drifting back down to you as he lines himself up, parting your lips with his tip before gradually shoving his way into your mouth.
You choke once but then immediately relax your throat, breathing deeply through your nose to try and not gag, moaning around his cock when you taste more of him. You've barely been given time to relax and breathe before Jake finally pushes his own dick back inside your pussy, filling you up in one swift motion that makes your moans rise in pitch, the vibrations turning Tsu'tey into a growling, feral creature that forces himself to remain still... for now.
Jake faintly smirks while huffing out a small moan in response to your pussy contracting around him, "'See how her bratty mouth isn't running anymore?"
Tsu'tey's usual snarl appears as he gives Jake a warning look, "I wonder if the same conclusion will happen if I do the same to you."
You don't have to see to know that Jake's shit-eating grin is etched on his lips, leaving you moaning around Tsu'tey when your husband slides out and immediately plunges back in, a large, wet slap echoing in the air when his hips meet your ass.
"I think she'd like nothing better than to see you teach me a lesson," Jake pushes out while huffing a strained, small laugh, "She just got tighter."
Tsu'tey grunts in answer, feeling your throat constrict around his cock like a living being each time Jake pulls out and shoves his way back in.Â
"Ngh, yes. Very 'ekxin," Tsu'tey groans out, finally giving in and starting to move his hips back and forth, small motions at first before eventually matching Jake's rhythm.Â
You felt like a spitroast with both cocks thrusting in and out both ends of you, and even more so when you felt a burning warmth, pleasant and growing deep in the pit of your stomach. The way Jake's cock rubs against the lining of your inner walls is so addicting, but you're unable to savor it because you're instantly distracted by the reminder to breathe through your nose when Tsu'tey only manages to plunge further down your throat. It was the kind of edging that would make anyone insane... and you loved it.
"You're greedy, baby, ya know that?" Jake growls playfully as he bends over your back and nips at your ear, "First, you had Toruk Makto, but then you also had to go and want the olo'eyktan. Well, now you have both of us, and it looks as though you can barely handle it."
The whines you let out send shocks up Tsu'tey's cock, making him growl uncontrollably, like a cornered animal. His mind foggy with desire, he briefly forgets how he needs to be gentle and roughly grabs your kuru, pulling it back to force your head to tilt at the desired angle before thrusting deep inside your mouth. His balls slap the underside of your chin while your constricting throat makes the most obscure, spongy sounds as you take his dick.
One of your hands shoots out to tightly grab his thigh, gagging around his cock as the leaking tip hits the back of your throat, past your uvula. Your nails dig into his skin in an attempt to push him away, but that only appears to rile him up more.
He snarls down at you, pulling back his lips to display his teeth, "Take it, sevin."
Your eyes widen with tears as you choke around him, your tearful gaze only spurring Tsu'tey on. Jake bites down on your shoulder, either to muffle his moans or to remind you he was there, no one could say.Â
"You heard him," Sully gasps as he lathers his tongue over your new bite mark, "Take it, baby. Take it all."
He tugs your tail a little tighter, reminding you that he still has his arm tangled around it. You whine loudly around Tsu'tey, feeling him twitch inside your mouth. The Na'vi man only rides your mouth faster, growling incoherently, precum leaking down your throat, making it tickle and threaten to make you cough or choke. Sensing he was close, you flex your tongue just underneath his length, hallowing your cheeks to the point his thrusts leave the most grotesque, sucking noises to fill the air.
"Yawntu-" Tsu'tey cut himself off with a snarl, his muzzle scrunching up like an angry thanator, "Kalweyaveng-!"
He's so deep in your throat that your nose bumps his pelvis, feeling his muscles tighten in his abdomen as he starts shooting his cum down your throat with one last thrust, driving himself as deep as possible while gasping for breath. You don't even dare close your eyes no matter how good it feels, watching his face contort above you, eyes closed as his brow ridge scrunched up as if in pain, and his mouth open while panting for air, loosening his grip on your kuru. He's still emptying his load as he slowly starts to pull out, the last couple of streams of his seed splashing over your lips and cheek. You close your mouth to swallow before your lips fall open to gulp down the air as if your life depended on it, your gaze flicking back up to him with half-lidded eyes.Â
Tsu'tey's tail twitches behind him at the sight of your flushed and marked face. While the heat of his lust has dimmed slightly from his eyes, the way he looked at you made everything in your body instinctively tighten, forcing both you and Jake to start spiraling to your own orgasms.
Jake whines every time he pushes his cock back inside your wet heat, a ring of white cream now forming around his thickness every time he stretches your puffy ring, "Ah, ah, ah-!"
The first spurts of his seed filling your womb sends your eyes to roll back as you clamp down around his cock, forcing him to stop thrusting and just empty everything he has as deep as possible, painting your walls. You moan loudly as the warmth in the pit of your stomach bursts, flooding your body with euphoria, a high you have never been able to recreate without your husband, but this time it only felt better with both he and Tsu'tey pumping you full from both ends.
As usual, Jake's ears twitch erratically as the edge of his orgasm begins to fade, leaving him blubbering nonsense as he tries to ride it out longer, "Ohhhh, baby. That's it... oh, fuck. Clenching me so tight... god, I never want to leave this tight little thing. Took us so well. Our little doll."
Instead of replying, the overstimulation as Jake faintly moves his hips to form shallow thrusts makes you whine and reach forward to bite the inside of Tsu'tey's thigh, eliciting a deep sound in the back of his throat as his hand tightens in your hair once more, "Mawey, sevin."
Jake chuckles and slowly pulls out, groaning while watching a large amount of cum leak out of your abused slit, his tail already curling with interest, "Take her real quick so I can grab a cloth."
As if you weighed nothing, Jake takes your hips and lifts you up, passing you to Tsu'tey like the doll he claims you to be. Your face practically magnetizes to the crook of the olo'eyktan's neck, the corded muscle flexing beneath your lips as you playfully bite him stirring a small wave of amusement through you. Tsu'tey harrumphs while tightening his arms around you, his previous hesitance no longer there.
"Did I mention she bites?" Jake smirks while finding a cloth and wetting it down, moving back over to the two of you.
Tsu'tey scoffs faintly, but there wasn't any malice behind his tone, too exhausted and surprisingly relaxed to care while watching Jake dip the cloth between your legs.
As your gasp quietly at the feel, Jake dips his head down to whisper hotly in your ear, "So, tomorrow night... how do you feel about breaking your link and keeping both yourself and your avatar here so Tsu'tey and I can fuck both of your pussys?"

EVERY CORNER OF THIS HOUSE IS HAUNTED. (2)

Synopsis ! Jake had taken you as his own after Tsu'tey's passing, leaving no one to care for you. Things had been good before your relationship with him had blurred along growing of age. You and him fought all the time; argued each other's ear off and tonight was no different-- except words have been said, severing the already damaged bond. Content & warning Jake sully x Daughter!Reader, Sully kids x Sister!Reader Neytiri x Daughter!Reader. (wc: 5264)

You swung your legs over the edge, feet ghosting just above the calm lake that surrounded this part of the forest. It was a bit far from the village, but you felt more at ease knowing that you wouldnât be found easily. This was your own place and ironically enough, a spot you and Jake had found years ago. You could see the familiar marks left from the arrows you had shot, deeply engraved in some of the trunks.Â
One drawing had caught your eye. From one of the trees, a bit taller than the rest; an image of you and your father. It was silly, clearly etched by the hands of a kid no older than six. The lines were harsh as the wood itself was tough, but it was thereâ almost mockingly. You scoffed, mindlessly grabbing a pebble and flinging it right on the center.Â
You have barely moved since you arrived here; detached yourself the moment you had sat near the jagged rocks. It was a habit you presumed you got from Jake. The longer you stayed, the more you succumbed to your ever-bleeding woundsâ there was just something so tragic about being an eldest daughter.  Â
You werenât all bite, despite the constant snarl on your lips. You weren't so egotistical as to think that you couldn't possibly be wrong, but tonight, tonight you knew damn well Jake was to blame.Â
âIs it because Iâm not your daughter?âÂ
Your own voice had rang through your mind. You wince in response, cringing internally. That could very well be the caseâ you weren't part of their family. You canât help but think that they may have done it out of pity.Â
But Kiri wasnât exactly their own either. In fact, you and Kiri werenât at all opposites at birth.
While you came from Tsuâtey, she was from Grace; both of you from separate blood and brought together by one. However you werenât exactly close to Eywa or have the skills she possessed. Kiri was undeniably specialâ spiritual and awfully attuned. Heck, she had managed to tame her own ikran simply by asking it to be her friend.Â
Still, there was no reason for Jake to treat you differently. You were jealousâ of course you are. If heâs able to be as gentle as he is with your baby sister, why couldnât he with you? It was a sickening thought, to think that he acts so rigid and unrelenting around you while he looked at her like she had hanged every star in the night sky. Sure Kiri was special, but you were at least his daughter too. Canât he spare you even just a second of a loving glance?
With Kiri, he listens intentlyâ looks at her with such tenderness as he takes in her every word. It was the same gaze he wore whenever we visited the sky-people lab; Jake would stare a bit too long at Grace, expression somewhere along the line of reminiscing. Whenever he had moments like these, his eyes would hold some sort of longingâ a promise. Perhaps it was because Grace meant the world to himâ literally. She taught him everything about Pandora, showed him the way of the Naâvi; gave him another shot at living.Â
Kiri was exactly like her mother; wise and cunning. Jake probably sees Grace in her very image. Â
Youâd think this would be the embodiment of every father with their daughters; kind and vulnerable, but you would argue otherwise. When he looked at you, it was more of regretâ grief prolonging. It was a gaze so ugly and unwanted; a weight youâre not supposed to carry.Â
Because youâre exactly like Tsuâtey and Jake sees him in yourself.Â
It was no secret that Jake was softer when it came to Tuk and Kiri. While you are relieved that it had been that way, you can never pray for them to experience the struggles you are burdened withâ it tugged on your heartstrings that you would never feel the warmer side of your father; will never know how it feels to be babied nor to be held gently.Â
You were her daughter too so you didnât understand. What made you any different from them that you had to pretend his love was hidden beneath his icy glares and dismissive grunts? These were emotions nonethelessâ however odd or minuscule they may have been. You thought that maybe, just maybe, thereâd be a crack to this exterior. Maybe if you tried harder, Jake would soften up to you too.Â
But that wasnât the case because he never did. You had picked apart pieces of yourself that you thought werenât pleasingâ did better despite your age. You were young and only yearned for your fatherâs approval.Â
( âYouâre not doing it right. Again.âÂ
As you stretched your already sore arms for the nth time, ready to take aim, his hands tug on your stanceâ a bit harsher than intended. Light continued to glare down on your figure as you tirelessly corrected your posture again. Your ears pricked up at the sound of your siblingâs laughter, coming to you from afar. You stole a glance at them as they continued to play and enjoy themselves by the water, their childish exuberance highlighted by their splashing around in the shallow waves.
âCanât I take a break?â You whined, dropping your stiff shoulders. Hearing them have fun made you want to jump in as well.Â
âI didnât let you talk my ear off just to give up. Come on, you promised me a bullseye today, baby girl.â He said, eyebrows furrowing a bit. You look down to your feet, a bit embarrassed. You didnât want him to not take you seriouslyâ you fear that if you let him down now, he wouldnât let you do anything again. âJust one hit and Iâll let you offââ
His head turns sharply towards Kiri as she calls out for Jake, asking him to join them in their game. He can't help but to let out a small chuckle as he yells back a short response of âin a minute.â
âAgain, come on.â His hands move quickly and firmly grasp your arms, helping you back to the same position before. âIâll be watching, promise.â With a light tap on your shoulder, he rushes off, chasing after your siblings towards the water.
The quicker you got it done, the sooner you would be able to play. You pulled on the string again and released a heavy sigh before releasing the arrow. After several tries of firing shots that missed their mark, you finally managed to hit dead center with one shot. Your eyes widen in surprise, disbelief crossing your face before you jump excitedly, âDid you see that, dad? Did youââ
Your yell was instantly drowned out by Lo'ak's hearty laugh. You couldn't help but feel deflated as you watched your father lift him up onto his shoulders while the others trailed behind them in a fit of giggles. You run towards them, bow in hand.Â
âYou werenât watchingââ You tried to pull his hand in your direction, gesturing towards the arrow that was still firmly embedded into the red ring you had created on the trunk of the tree.
"Ah, darn, I missed it?" He said between breathy chuckles as Kiri tried to tug on his tail from behind, barely taking note of your work. "Why don't you do it again? This time I'll be sure to pay attention."
âBut I want to play with you now.âÂ
âDadâ Neteyam caught something! Itâs huge, come look!â Jake slowly lowers Lo'ak from his shoulders, letting them pull him towards where Neteyam stood. The children squealed at the sight of the fish (with Kiri letting out a few disgusted gags), but Jake reveled in pride. âYeah, Neteyam, the mighty fisherman!â
You stayed still on the shore watching themâ watching him. It was so easy to lose your fatherâs attention despite your best efforts. You retreated back to your spot, eyes glaring at the arrow sticking out from the tree. If a single bullseye wasnât enough to impress Jake, then youâd just have to perfect your aim. Your hits will never miss again and youâll make him proud.)Â
You were clueless. If only you knew that there was no satisfying your father, you wouldâve spent the days tirelessly training to play insteadâ to be an actual kid without having the worries of a grown adult.Â
You could leave. At the thought of it, your head swiveled towards the unfamiliar path that would take you away from the clanâ away from everything you know. You could leave and never come back; take your fatherâs name and build your own person. There was this selfish thought pricking at the back of your brain that once they noticed your absence, everyone would look for you and even feel sorry for what they put you through; that Jake would be sorry to lose you.Â
You wonder what kind of reputation you'd leave for him when everyone realizes you had run away, never to come back. But it was unfairâ your mother would be devastated. Neytiri had already gone through enough, were you worth another heartbreak? She didnât deserve that.Â
Suppose you could only dream that Jake would put on an effort for a search partyâ for him to grow hopeless and regretful while searching for you. You could only dream that heâd run towards you, arms wide open. âYou scared me, sweetheart. I thought I lost you. Iâm sorry, dadâs sorry.âÂ
But youâve been away for hours and no one has reached out yet. They probably assumed that you only needed some time and space to clear your head, not seeing any cause for alarm. The only thing that waited for you back home was a hell of a scolding and a weekâs punishment of tending the ikrans. Sighing, you decided to just head back. Â

Your steps are carefulâ silent, as you near your hut again. You expected for the worst. Neytiri could have told Jake to stay guard outside until you finally decided to come home for all you know, but you werenât ready for another heated conversation with him just yet. So as you make your way back, you stick your neck out behind the bushes, trying to make out of the surroundings.Â
Surprisingly, it wasnât Jake that was waiting outside. It was Kiri. Her figure glows underneath the starry night and it was hard not to be discouraged, but you suppose it was better than having to deal with your father again.Â
"Kiri?" You called out in a low voice, and instantly her head snapped up. She quickly jumps to her feet upon seeing your arrival, heart racing as she rushes towards you. Without hesitation, she wraps her arms tightly around you in a hug. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath to try and steady herself. âOh great mother, thank you.â
You tentatively put your arms around her in response, hands patting the top of her head. âThis isnât the first time I ran from home,â Your voice is softâ unsure.Â
Feeling your hesitance, she slowly withdraws from you. âBut itâs the first time sempul has said something so..â She stops herself mid-sentence, shaking her head as if to clear away her thoughts. âI worry youâd finally want to leave.âÂ
You stared at her, feeling your insides soften. You could never get angry at Kiri, no matter the situation. You couldnât just leave. She was your sister still and no one would ever understand you like she does. No one will ever grow you another sibling. As much as you hated yourself, you were meant to watch as she thrives. Â
Siblings were such a weird concept; it was hard for you to wrap your head around it. Despite the fact that you could hate them with every fibre of your being, youâd still love them unconditionally and protectively; despise them but burn down the whole universe for their safety. It made no sense to be so full of such strong, conflicting emotions all at once, but she was your sister and that was enough explanation.
âStupid eywa-powers.â You joke as you take your index finger, lightly pressing it against her forehead. She playfully swats your hand away with a laugh, eyes crinkling.
She silently murmurs, âNot stupidâ to herself, a small laugh escaping her lips.
You two slowly sat on your wicker chairs in front of the fire. The seat creaked as you made yourself comfortable. Jake was real handy with his hands back thenâ made all sorts of things for everyone. Wooden Toruks, comfortable hammocks, and each one a special chair. Everyoneâs name was etched on the back and although it was a bit smaller now, considering it was made for when you were toddlers, no one had grown out of sitting on it.Â
You smiled at the memory. It was like tradition for the Sully familyâ a silly one, but loved nonetheless. He first made you the wicker chair and although it was rather flimsy, you argued that Neteyam should have one as well when he came around.Â
It was so conflictingâ to be able to remember your father was mean, despite being kind, then to know him as kind, despite being mean. You fear Jake could be every word you think of but the word father.Â
âRemember that time when we played hide-and-seek and we all thought Loâak cheated by hiding back at home only to find out we left him at the forest?â Kiri spoke, eyes fixated at the flames.Â
You chuckled, âYeah, even dad was in on itâ told us not to tell mom that we left him.â
âOhâ and that one time they left us to Moâat to have their little dates and came home to see grandma knocked out and her hut a mess?â
You laughed, rather loudly this time. You remembered the memory like it was yesterdayâ little Neteyam wrapped from head to toe in bandages as you two tried to play healers; pastes and herbs were scattered everywhere while Loâak was playing to his own devices happily (something about kid Loâak and wanting to play alone most of the time). âLoâak and his lisp trying to explain why he was covered in warrior paint all over his body.â
âKi-ti told me to do it!â Kiri squeaked out in her best impression of Loâak, before both of you burst into smothered laughterâ careful not to wake anyone up. After taking a few moments to catch your breath, the area was silent once more. There was no sound other than the crackle of the fire, its flame illuminating the darkness in the vicinity.Â
âIâm trying to see the situation in both perspectives,â She starts once the quietness grows unbearable. You averted your gaze, not wanting to talk it out with her.
âI really donât wanna talk about it, Kiri.â You threw your head back, your eyes burning a hole into the night sky.
âI just donât want it to explode like what happened a while ago again.âÂ
You kiss your teeth and let out an exasperated sigh, tongue clicking as you exhale. Deep down you knew that there was no getting out of this situation, so you may as well hear what they had to say. âFine. Whatâs your diagnosis, doc?âÂ
The flap of the hut's entrance is suddenly thrown back, revealing a rather disoriented looking Lo'ak stumbling out. It's clear he had just been stirred from his slumber. âYou two arenât as quiet as you think you are.â He said, his voice low. He made his way over to Kiri and sat down beside her with an audible yawn. âWhat is it this time?â
âEywa tells me of your troubles,â Kiri starts, ignoring Loâak. âFather isnât at all the greatest, I know, but heâs tryingâ His choices aren't really the best, but itâs what he knows. If you think about it, he was just as young once and you donât exactly become a father twice.âÂ
âWhat are you saying?âÂ
âSheâs sayingâ cut him some slack, maybe?â Lo'ak breaks the stillness with an unexpected remark, his voice quite loud in comparison to Kiri's careful words. His comment catches you off guard and you shift your position uncomfortably on your seat.
âBrother, you really have to stop going out with Spider. You and your lingo is getting harder and harder to discern.â Kiri jabs him from the side, âWhat he means to say isâ maybe you should try being the bigger person instead?â
You let out a deep breath through your nostrils, not enjoying the direction of the conversation. Your brow crinkles in concentration as you try to make sense of why the discussion was taking this turn. You had no desire to pick apart the problem any further and yet, here you wereâ perhaps Neytiri told them to talk some sense to you? To quiet down for the sake of your old man?
Already sensing your anger, Loâak quickly interjects again. âListen, Itâs like,â He turns to you, the grogginess in his expression fading away and being replaced by something more serious. âIf dad happens to reprimand us, we save our excuses or any reason we have. The response he wants is an apology and an apology is what youâre going to sayâ thatâs it.â
âBut thatâs unfair.â You let out a groan, lips turning into a deep frown. âEspecially to you and Neteyam.â
Loâak only lets out a playful scoff, as if heâs trying to lighten the mood. âYou mean, especially to Neteyam. Broâs an automated machineâ expect him to immediately take the blame.â He says, grinning. âI think dad is just.. cracking the code still? Shit, I donât know. He had to learn to live on two different stars. It must be hard on him.â
âDoesnât it hurt you? Trying to understand someone older?âÂ
Loâak stills for a minute as heavy silence envelopes everyone. âOf course it does. It stings a lot sisâ but I think, no parent deserves a resentful son when all they wanted was for me to be better.âÂ
Then it crashes down upon you like a heavy sack filled with rocks, a realization pressing directly against your chest as you watch Loâakâs face, illuminated against the flicker of the flamesâ the lights cast an image you failed to recognize before. Your brothers werenât exactly immune to Jakeâs ways either. He was equally as tough on them.Â
Maybe you can try for their sake. Maybe you should take the initiative instead of waiting for your fatherâs open arms.Â
âWhy donât you join us tomorrow instead? Take your mind off things. Weâre visiting the old shack with Spider,â Lo'ak's hand carefully reaches for your hair, the tips of his fingers ruffling through your braidsâ a gesture he picked up after Neteyam. You chuckle, suddenly slightly embarrassed.Â
âIsnât it dangerous?â You ask, eyebrows furrowed.Â
âIt is,â Kiri answers for Loâak, giving him a pointed glare. âTuk heard about it and is begging to come along.âÂ
âMore like blackmailed meâ Iâll tell mom if you wonât let me come.â He put on a mocking impression of Tuk, sticking his tongue out in an exaggerated way. Kiri gave him another jab, causing him to hiss in response. âBut it should be safe.âÂ
Kiri rolls her eyes. âWe are so getting into trouble.â
âYou guys go,â You say, back resting against the chair again. âThink I should fix the situation with dad first before getting in trouble again.âÂ
You feel Kiriâs eyes on youâ gaze emitting a sense of gratitude, almost like a tangible thank you for trying. Itâs funny how sheâs younger than you and yet she looked out for you more than you had.Â
You let out a deep sigh as the three of you settled in, reveling in the quiet serenity of the woods. The soft sounds of the forest enveloped you, providing a sense of calm that was hard to miss. Slowly, it lulled you all to a familiar kind of comfort.Â

Breakfast was unsurprisingly silent.Â
You felt like the room was full of robots, their limbs jerking and movements mechanically programmed as they ate. As everyone shifted ever so slightly, it seemed almost like they were doing it robotically - stiff and slow. It was like they were walking on eggshells around you and it was hard not to roll your eyes.Â
It was painfully awkwardâ a hard watch as Jake tried hard not to make eye contact with you. Neytiri would occasionally jab him from the side and pinch the fat of his thigh. âTalk to her.â â her glare would send him the message.Â
He lets out a sigh before visibly gulping. âY/n.âÂ
Your head suddenly jerks upwards from the bowl resting in your lap, startled by your fatherâs voice calling for you. Neytiri watches in anticipation while your heart pounded madly against your chest. Suddenly, the air fills with tension as all movement ceases. Not a single soul speaks or breathesâ waiting.
âPass the salt.â Jesus Christ.Â
You give him a deadpan expression, stretching your arms over to pass it to him. He carefully takes it, shaking it over his already salty meal. Neytiri could only push her hands against her face in frustration, a groan of exasperation coming from deep within. After a few minutes, she finishes up and leaves with Tuk in her arms. The rest follow suit. Â
âIâm off,â You finish cleaning up the table, standing up from your seat and grabbing the weapons you needed for an impromptu hunt. Without waiting for a reply, you left Jake alone on the table.Â
As you trekked further into the forest, you prayed to Eywa for guidance. You were careful to smear the war paint onto your cheeks and foreheadâ breathing labored, but focused nonetheless.Â
You figured, your father has been doing bad from the recent huntsâ only coming home with fruits and small portions of meat, sometimes none at all. It was that kind of season where the animals were out to hide and hibernate. You didnât know where you got the confidence that youâd be able to return with something, considering the best next best warriors could hardly do so.Â
You had to try regardless; you thought that perhaps it could be a way for you and Jake to open up a conversation with each other. Maybe he could soften down his glare a bit when you come home with something to eatâ but as hours passed and the sun burned to noon, you were only met with disappointment.Â
You stopped by an unfamiliar area, leaning against a tree as you tried to catch your breath. You regret not bringing your ikran with youâ just what were you thinking?
As if the great mother had noticed your desperation, a familiar sound roars from a distance. Your ears perked up as you tried to walk through the thick bushes. A lone sturmbeest, drinking by the river. You sighed in relief before hurriedly taking your bow out of your back. They mostly traveled by a herd, but today might just be your luckiestâ you stretch your arms, carefully approaching the animal.Â
Just this once, you pleaded, be in my favor.Â

The journey home was dreadful. You had been carrying meat and a few bones for what seemed like hours on end, feeling the strain in your back from the task. It was a small sturmbeestâ presumably female by the size, but it should be enough to provide meals for a week or so. Before you knew it, eclipse approached fast and you were eager to meet your hammock.Â
You couldnât see; unable to hold any form of light as you needed both hands to carry the heavy sack, but the thought of going home with something to proudly show your father rekindled the sense of pride that was long gone; a feeling you hadn't had in a long timeâ burned by the countless times youâve tried to gain even a drop of recognition.
You were successful in hunting a sturmbeest when no one couldnât for the past weeksâ your father would be proud and that was all the strength you needed to continue waking.Â
Noticing the familiar path back to the clan, a surge of adrenaline courses through your body from the thought of already nearing home. But as the horns blared from the village, you felt nothing but confusionâ What could it mean and why this late? You quickened your pace towards them.Â
Ikrans flew in, landing at the open space as everyone gathered around. You squeezed your way in through the crowdâ stomach churning as the sound of Tuk's cries became more and more clear with every step; but before you could run to your baby sister, you were harshly pulled back. You immediately recognize your fatherâs calloused hands, but this time his grip was harshâ unrelenting. Careful not to trip on your feet, you steadied yourself, head looking up to meet his glare.Â
âWhere were you?âÂ
And just like that, your thoughts come crashing down around you from the sight of your father towering your figure, leaning in slightly. You feel it in the pit of your stomach; this wasn't what you wanted to come home to, this wasn't what you were expecting.
âSir IââÂ
âThe kids are hurt,â Neytiri hissed, tugging him sharply away from you. âFor once, hold your tongue.â
He gives you one last glance, nostrils flaring as he walks away. That was your cue to trail behind. You walked behind him, eyes cast downwards as your thoughts raced through your mind. Neytiri is quick to come and stand by your side, soft kisses pressed into the top of your head. âAre you hurt, maâite? Where were you?â She softly asks.Â
You pause, feeling the words on the tip of your tongue leave the moment you try to open your mouth to speak. For some reason, you felt embarrassedâ ashamed.Â
âWhat happened?â You whispered as you neared your grandmotherâs hut. You glanced back to your siblingâs shivering figures, all of them unable to look you in the eye. Neytiri didnât answer eitherâ didnât know how to tell you that they had found them once again. They processed the severity of the situation still, clearly shaken up and scared.Â
Everyone stepped inside, Mo'at immediately gathering each of them in a warm embrace. She spoke her thanks to Eywa in a gentle murmur, kissing the top of their heads. Neytiri quickly drew Tuk into her own arms, easing her shaking body.Â
âOutside, now.â Jake whispers before leaving. You take one last look around at all the people in the room before finally following him, your palms beginning to sweat as your anxiety intensifies.
Once you both find yourselves in a place where there were no lingering stares or whispers, (and without Neytiri having to save your ass this time), he turns to you, anger just as fiery as before. He strides back and forth, feet heavy on the ground as he attempts to choose his words carefully.
âIââ He started to speak, but then averted his gaze, his jaw clenched tight as he tried again. âWhere were you?âÂ
You try to swallow the lump forming in your throat as you mull over the question, taking a deep breath before finally attempting to answer. âI went out on a hunt. I haveââ
âWithout telling anyone firsthand? With scattered avatars over the perimeter?â Jake is quick to interject, arms flailing in anger. âJust what were you thinking? You knew about them going to the old shack and you did nothing to prevent it?âÂ
Your shoulders slump wearily, feeling extremely overwhelmed. âI only wanted toââ
âJesus Christ, itâs always about what you want, yeah? You with wanting to be oloâeykte, you with wanting to be heard. You and your goddamn wants had us all worried!âÂ
And as you listen to him raise his voice, you turn younger and youngerâ until you were that same kid trying to tug on his arms to look at your first hit; that same kid who would do anything just for a moment of his time. It was like being ten years old all over again and realizing that he was slowly slipping away. Thatâs where you finally decided that Jakeâ your father, was just capable of unloving a child.Â
You take a step back, feeling the frustration boiling over as well. âWell maybe if you were a better father, they wouldnât have the need to go against you every once in a while!â You shouted with the same volume as his, âYou act as if weâre some sort of troops rather than a familyââ
âI do it for youâ for everyone! To keep them safe! You think itâs easy?âÂ
âWell you did a pretty good job because from what I see, theyâre shaking in their boots inside grandmaâs hut!â You sarcastically remarked, âBest dad of Pandora, yeah?âÂ
âJesus Christ,â He mutters under his breath before looking up, as if he was pleading for Eywa to lengthen his patience. He then looked at you, eyes momentarily softening. You were breathing heavily, fangs baring. It was funny, he thought. You werenât his daughter and yet you stood in front of him now looking exactly like him.Â
What he didnât understand was that it wasn't Tsuâteyâs attitude that was passed down to youâ rather, it was Jakeâs anger you inherited. This was all him. All his fault.Â
âI thought I had it good, having Toruk Makto as a father. Five year old me was the proudest, if not a bit boastful too.â You muttered, gaze not meeting his. âThereâs this huge difference that draws the line between being the oloâeyktan and a father and youâre doing a real shit job at the latter.â
I miss the latter, you failed to say.Â
You failed to see the way his ears flattened against his head, how his shoulders dropped like he couldnât hold the weight of the worldâs pressure anymoreâ but you were unable to see him. No, you two didnât see each other eye to eye. To know that you failed your child was something a parent would never want to hear. His own daughter resented him and it was a heartache beyond repair.Â
âYou think you make parenting any easier for me?âÂ
âThen I wish you never took me in!âÂ
It was such a thoughtless thing to do; to utter words that you know will only harm you more than they would ever heal - but it was there, finally out of your system; a though that lingered for as long as you can remember. Why take me in? Why raise a kid you wouldn't be able to care for?
You only wished that words could be undone but neither of you knew when to bite one's tongue back.
âYeah?â He challenged, letting out a mocking snicker. âI really wish I didnâtâ is that what you want me to say? Then go ahead and leave. Find a new family, see if they wonât find you any less difficult.â
And that was the final blowâ the push you needed to leave. You looked at him in disbelief, vision blurry with tears. You shoved the bag right to his chest, forgetting it momentarily amidst the shouting session you just had with your father; the one you desperately wanted to present to him. With nothing else to say, you stormed off, leaving him behind.Â
Oh Eywa, there is nothing else as undoing as being an eldest daughter.Â

"We need to keep this quiet" He murmurs, his voice quiet. The last thing she needed was everyone hounding her, demanding answers about this. Mo'at nods, agreeing that this should be kept quiet before turning and going to a small side room, searching for something. He keeps his arms firmly around her , his face buried in her hair as he murmurs reassurances and tries to soothe his own racing mind "It'll be alright"
He repeated, as if he was trying to convince himself more than her. Mo'at re-emerged with a small, woven basket. It was full of various things, but he couldn't see what exactly through the woven cloth She set it down beside him, gesturing for him to look inside. He gently shifted her out his lap for a moment so he could lean forwards, looking inside the basket. His long fingers pull back the lid, his brow furrowed as he looks at the contents. The basket was filled with various things. Some herbs, some berries, and a few other bits and pieces he doesn't notice Mo'at motions to them, pointing at specific things "Make sure she takes these everyday. Some of the herbs will help with the nausea, the berries will help replenish the energy. I will try to find more" Tsu'tey just nods silently, still trying to process that he was going to be a father.Â
The next few months had gone by slowly and quietly. Tsu'tey had kept her pregnancy a secret, much to the growing frustration of the scientists as she avoided them more. He was almost overly protective of her , following her everywhere and trying to keep her from anything even slightly dangerous or tiring. Mo'at had been of great help, bringing over herbs and berries to help with her sickness and any other issue she had had. But as she grew, it became more and more obvious to the others that something was wrong
She was more tired, her stomach was obviously bigger, and everyone was starting to notice. They tried to bring her to the lab for tests and scans, but Tsu'tey stood in their way, refusing for them to do anything more. He knew they would poke and prod and study her, not even considering her as a person anymore.Â
He would bring her to Mo'at every time she had even a slight pain or issue, worried that anything unusual was a bad sign. Mo'at assured him that it would be okay, but every time she looked at (Y/N) distended stomach, you could see the worry in her eyes. Tsu'tey was always at her side, his touch gentle and warm. He would soothe her nausea with a few berries and a cool rag, and soothe his own worries by pressing his giant hands against her stomach and talking quietly to you both.
The other's, particularly the scientists, were becoming more and more frustrated at her and Tsu'tey's secrecy, getting more demanding and more desperate to get (Y/N) in the lab. Tsu'tey's temper was wearing thin and he eventually snapped at Max when the scientist tried to force her in for a scan. It had been a long day, and she was feeling particularly exhausted from being onÂ
her feet all day. Tsu'tey had taken her to the lab to work on a project with Max and Norm, but she was starting to feel faint. Max had tried to gently persuade her into the medical room, saying it was just a quick check to make sure everything was going okay and that it would only take a couple minutes. Tsu'tey had lost his temper and shoved Max aside, forcing him to get away from her. "No" He snaps, his voice low and quiet. His golden eyes almost glow with anger as he glares at Max. She'd never seen him this angry. He turns to look at (Y/N), the anger leaving him immediately as he looks at her face. Her face was pale and her hands were shaking from the effort of staying upright. Tsu'tey instantly steps in to support her, gathering her in his arms and gently holding (Y/N) against his chest. Max was frustrated , his jaw
clenching. "I don't see why we can't just do a quick scan. We don't have to do anything invasive, it's just to check everything's going well" Norm intervenedÂ
"Max-" But Max cuts him off, his eyes locked on Tsu'tey
"it's literally our job to collect data" "And what are you going to do when you get that data and if you donât like it , huh?" Tsu'tey snaps back, his whole body tense.
"What if you get some readings you don't like, what then, huh?" He keeps one arm firmly wrapped around her , holding her to his chest while he glares at Max, almost shaking with anger "If the fetus is unhealthy or showing signs of abnormality, then it may need to be terminated-" Max keeps going but Tsu'tey doesn't even give him the chance to finish the sentence before his fist clenches at his side, his knuckles turning white even as he holds her with his other arm "There will be no 'terminating'" Tsu'tey practically growls that last word, his body practically shaking with anger "This baby is not a data point. It's not an experiment. It's our child" Max's eyes narrow, but he holds his hands up "okay, fine, it's your child. But don't you think a scan could be helpful? I mean we can find out the gender, we can see how it's developing-" (Y/N) cut him off â Tsu'tey I want to go homeâ In an instant, all of Tsu'tey focus switches to her.
He instantly notices how pale she was and how tired she looked, and gently scoops her up in his arms, holding her against his chest. He shoots another glare at Max and Norm as he starts carrying her out towards their home. He practically ignores her protests, gently shushing her and murmuring reassurances as he carries her back to their home. As soon as they got home, he carefully set (Y/N) down on the soft, woven pile of blankets that served as their bed. He carefully lowers himself down behind her, pressing up to her back and gently wrapping an arm around her waist. He nuzzles his face into her neck and breathes out a long, slow breath, finally letting his guard down for a moment
He presses his hand gently to her stomach, his long fingers splayed across her skin. He can feel the swell of her belly, the bump of the baby inside. He kept his eyes closed as he breathed her in, nuzzling his face against her. She nuzzled back ,she was exhausted
He tightened his grip around her waist as he pulled her even closer against his chest. He can tell she was tired, her whole body shaking with exhaustion. His lips pressed against the back of her shoulder as he tried to soothe her. She fell asleep on him. He feels (Y/N) relax against him as she sleeps , her breathing slowly evening out. He keeps his arms around you, holding her tight against him and burying his face into her hair
He stayed awake, watching her face as she slept. His mind still races, but his mind is calmer than it was earlier. Now she is here, safe and sound and asleep, he can finally allow himself to properly relax. She stayed asleep. He stayed awake for a while longer, simply watching her sleep. He gently pulls the covers up around her, making sure she is properly tucked up and comfortable. After a while, he slowly feels himself start to doze off too.
She slept till early morning. The sun raised slowly, filtering through the woven shelter and casting it in a soft, warm glow. Tsu'tey slowly wakens a few hours later, opening his eyes to see (Y/N) ace softly lit by the morning sunlight He slowly sits up, propping himself up on one elbow as he looks down at her. She was starting to stir, her eyes fluttering open. He watches her for a moment, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he watches her wake "Good morning" He murmurs gently, reaching out to brush his fingers gently over her cheek He lets his hand cup her face, his calloused fingertips gently tracing over her skin, as if he was trying to commit every little part of her to his memory She nuzzled him. He feels her nuzzle against him, and his smile widens slightly. He leans down, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. He lets his arms wrap around her, pulling her close against his chest as if he can't get close enough to her. Her skin is warm against his, and he nuzzles against her hair and the top of her head, breathing in the scent of her. He feels his own anxiety from the other night ebb away, replaced by a warm, fuzzy feeling in his chest. She gently grunted " I want this baby out " she muttered. He couldn't help but let out a small huff of a laugh at her comment, his chest rumbling with a quiet chuckle. "I know, I know" he says, his hand gently rubbing her stomach. She lay back yawning again. He follows her down, lying back with her as he continues rubbing her belly. He can feel the baby moving under her skin, shifting around inside her .He leans in, gently pressing his lips to her stomach He murmurs against her stomach "your mommy is getting impatient with you" He lets his lips linger, pressing soft kisses against her skin. She laughed softly " hey you would too if you carrying a watermelon He smiled up at her, his lips still against her stomach "You're right, I would" He glances down at your belly again "it's your fault, you know" he jokingly murmurs to the baby "You've given your mother a difficult time" He gently starts massaging her stomach, his hand large enough to span almost all of it at once His fingers gently rub in soft circles, as if he's trying to soothe the baby as well as her. He can feel the taut skin of her stomach under his fingers, still stretched tight around the bump (Y/N) started to doze off again. He notices her starting to fall asleep again, and he can't help but smile a little. He knows sheâs tired, and knows she needs the extra rest. He nuzzles against her stomach again, then leans in to press a kiss to her cheek "get some sleep" He gently pulls the covers up around her, making sure she is warm and comfortable. He shifts to lie behind her, his large, muscular body pressed up against hers as he wraps one arm around her waist and pulls her close Â
The next month or so passes in a similar fashion, Tsu'tey being overbearing and overprotective.
Every time she not feeling well, he's at her side, and he's constantly trying to keep her from getting tired or exerting herself As her due date approaches, he gets increasingly apprehensive and nervous, spending almost every minute at her side and fussing over every small issue she had until she hit a breaking point. âWhy don't you go for a short huh?" (Y/N) suggested He glances at her, raising an eyebrow. His first response is to protest and say he doesn't want to leave her, but he can tell she was feeling smothered and fed up with how overprotective he's been, and he sighs "You really want me to?" â I think it'd do you some good besides I'm not leaving our marui" He lets out a small huff of a sigh, knowing she was probably right, and reluctantly nods "Alright, alright. I'll go" he says, already missing her before he has to leave. She nuzzles him. He nuzzles her back, letting his forehead rest against hers for a moment "I'll see you later" he says softly, before reluctantly pulling away from her and grabbing his bow. She grabbed her tablet and read for a little while before taking a nap. It takes a few hours before Tsu'tey comes back to the marui. He's carrying a couple of fish in one hand, He sees her lying there with the tablet and a part of him relaxes, relieved to know she hasn't left the marui like he was afraid she would, She was curled up asleep in the nest. He sets the fish down, before gently laying down beside her. He tries not to disturb her, as he knows how tired she had been. But he can't help gently nuzzling his face into her hair, breathing in her familiar scent
He lets out a soft sigh as he wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her close against his chest. He can feel the bump of her stomach against his , the baby growing more restless and running out of space in her belly. He gently shifts himself to where he's lying behind her, spooning against her back and resting his hand on her stomach. He lets his fingers rub in gentle circles against her skin, hoping to soothe not just the baby but her as well
As her due date approaches, Tsu'tey becomes more and more stressed and restless. He spends every single minute of the day by her side, refusing to leave her unattended at all. He has nightmares nearly every night while he's supposed to be asleep, about the baby being born dead, or dying soon after, while she is bleeding out and fading right before his eyes. He'll occasionally wake up in a cold sweat, but tries to stay quiet to avoid waking her up. He stays as quiet as possible as he pulls her closer to him, his arms wrapping around her and holding her tight against his chest. He buries his face into her hair, trying to calm his hammering heart and steady his breathing
(Y/N) hummed in her sleep nuzzling him. He buries his face in the crook of her neck, his nose pressed against her skin. He lets himself breathe in her scent, taking in just how alive she was. He can feel her heart beating against his, the steady thump of it calming and reassuring him. He lets his hand rest on her stomach, feeling the bump of the baby. They've gotten so big, it's easy for him to feel every kick and squirm they give. He can't keep the smallest smile off his face as he feels them stirring inside her, but the anxiety and stress over the impending birth is still weighing down on him
He tries to shake himself out of the dark thoughts, instead focusing on the baby. He rubs her belly in small circles, silently praying to Eywa that it goes well, that everyone will be okay. He tries to keep his voice soft and quiet, but he can't stop the quiet words from leaving his lips as he murmurs against her skin, "please let it be okay, please let them both be okay..."
He keeps his nose against her skin, breathing in ragged breaths as he tries to will himself to sleep.
But the dark dreams keep coming back, the images of the baby crying out weakly as she slowly fade away, the blood staining his hands and clothes, the image burned into his mind. His grip around her tightens as he shakes those images away, nuzzling against the nape of her neck. He wills himself to think of happier things, of the baby being born healthy, of the first time he will get to hold them, of the joy that would bring.
It had been a long, hard few months . (Y/N)Â had been monitored by Mo'at carefully, and Tsu'tey was more overprotective than usual, watching for any signs of distress.
The days ticked by, slowly approaching the moment. She was laying back on a sleep mat Tsu'tey by her side keeping her up. Mo'at knelt between her legs, guiding her through the process. She was gripping Tsu'teys hand tight. He was kneeling beside her , leaning his head on her as she squeezed the life out of his hand. Mo'at occasionally spoke, encouraging her to push and reassuring her that she was doing well "Good, good, push. You're doing so well" Mo'at's voice was as encouraging as she could be, trying to get her to do what was needed. She could already make out the head. Tsu'tey pressed his forehead against hers , his fingers intertwined with hers . "You're doing so well, you're perfect" He breathed, his breath hot against her skin as he tried to distract her from the pain "Nearly there, you're nearly there. Push again" Mo'at knew it would be hard, but she also knew (Y/N) was strong. "That's it, you're almost there" (Y/N) cried out, the pain intense and burning. She couldn't do it anymore, she felt like she was going to pass out. "I can't, I can't-"
"Yes you can, you're doing so well" Tsu'tey assured her, his free hand moving to the side of her face, trying to soothe her , she let out a low, guttural sound, gripping Tsu'tey hand even tighter. The pain was nearly blinding now, and she was exhausted but she was almost there. So incredibly close. "One more push for me, come on child. You're doing so well" The encouraging words from Mo'at spurred her on, gritting her teeth as she used all her strength to push one last time. The push seemed to last forever, but the moment it was done, a soft wail filled the air. The sound of a baby crying.
Mo'at smiled, gently picking up the baby and holding them in her hands. A moment later, Tsu'tey raised his head from (Y/N)Â shoulder and looked at the baby
"Is, is it-" he couldn't form a coherent sentence. His chest was heaving and he was shaking from the adrenaline.
âIt's a girl" Moâat's words were said softly, her voice quieter than usual as she spoke. A girl, a beautiful, perfect little girl. The crying baby was placed on (Y/N) chest, still covered in birth fluids and the cord looped around her. You could see the pure disbelief and love on Tsuâteys face. He was in shock "Congratulations"
Mo'at's normally sharp voice was quiet, a small smile on her face. She reached out and patted (Y/N)Â thigh gently "You did well, childâ.Â
Tsuâtey leant over her , his lips brushing against her forehead, his breath hot against her skin. "You did so well" He murmured, his voice cracking slightly as he looked down at the little squirming baby in her arms.
The baby seemed to calm as she held her, her crying ceasing and being replaced with little sounds like tiny chirrups. He reached out and stroked a finger down the baby's cheek, his touch as gentle as he could. He couldn't believe how small she was, this tiny little baby, this perfect little thing .Tsu'tey raised his head again to look at (Y/N). She was exhausted, and covered in sweat and blood, but she never looked more beautiful to him . âSheâs perfectâ He murmured, his voice a mix of awe and tiredness. He carefully sat down on the ground next to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her closer. The baby was still in her hold, and she could feel the protective way Tsuâtey was wrapped around her (Y/N) nuzzled her baby. The baby squeaked under her affection, her tiny limbs wiggling again as she let out a soft sort of purring noise. Tsu'tey watched the two of you with a soft expression, his fingers tracing small circles on the baby's tummy
"What are you going to name her?" Mo'at's sharp voiced interrupted the moment, her eyes on her and Tsu'tey as she watched (Y/N) with the tiny baby
âKamari " Tsu'tey's eyes flicked away from the baby and over to her, a quizzical look on his face "Kamari?" He repeated, tilting his head a little as he tested the name she nodded, a satisfied smile on her face. It was the first thing that popped into her mind when she looked at her. Tsu'tey thought about it for a moment before giving a small nod "Kamari.." He said again, his eyes falling back down to the baby in his arms. "You like that, little one?" Kamari gave a small noise as if she was agreeing with her father. The baby wrapped one of her tiny hands around Tsuâteys finger, gripping it tightly. Her hand was so tiny, yet her grip was remarkably strong. Tsuâtey chuckled breathlessly as he gently tugged his finger, watching her not let go with an adoring look in his eyes âOh you're totally screwed " spoke (Y/N) Tsu'tey gave her a side eye, his mouth tilting up in a small smirk "What do you mean by that?" He asked, his thumb tracing soft circles over the back of Kamari's tiny hand "She's got you wrapped around her little finger". "She's not the only one, you know" He murmurs, his eyes flicking up to look towards her, that smirk on his lips. Then his gaze falls back to the baby in his arms, his expression immediately softening Kamari let out what sounded like a little squeak, her tiny fingers grasping onto her father's finger with her surprising strength. Mo'at chuckled quietly, crossing her arms as she watched Tsu'tey interact with the baby
"You're in trouble already, Oloâeyktan â Tsu'tey huffed in response to Mo'at's comment but didn't disagree. He knew exactly what she meant, He was completely enraptured, this little girl was the perfect combination of you both. He knew he was falling in love already . The baby let out a tiny gurgling sound, wiggling its tiny little arms as it snuggled against (Y/N) chest.

âWatch your feet,â Tsuâtey throws an angry glance at you, as you stumble through the thick bushes, trying to catch up to him.
Tsuâtey didnât like dreamwalkers, hell, he almost killed one a few years back, if he hadnât been stopped. But Tsuâtey especially didnât like the ones that were awkward and weak in their disguised bodies, asking stupid questions, and constantly getting themselves into trouble. So of course, he was angry when Jake ordered him to keep an eye on you.
âTsuâtey,â you breathe out, âPlease wait for me.â
Despite the strength that your new body possesses, you struggle to keep up with Tsuâtey, feeling like a helpless child in comparison. He walks fast, treating this like another mission that he desperately wants to get over with. Tsuâtey doesnât really care that Jake welcomed you into the clan for the help you offered. Or that the maps you've made could save the Omaticaya from future attacks by the sky people. What are a few more attacks on him? Tsuâtey relished in destroying the massive flying ships, he could go against them without your help any day.Â
From the moment you embarked on your journey to the science facility to retrieve some of your equipment, it seemed like Tsuâteyâs luck had run out. As if for some reason Eywa had cursed him, making his journey with you longer and tiresome.
At first, he resented the idea of sharing his direhorse with you, since you hadnât learned how to ride one yet. He also hated how you would cling to his middle, whenever he sped up, and restricted his movements. If only you had kept quiet, he could have tolerated you more, but instead, you occasionally tried to pry into his past.
âSo, why donât you have a mate?â
âShe was killed by one of your demons.â
âOh.â
Two hours in, Tsuâtey decided to stop by the river to give his horse a short break. As you crouched down by the water, examining the way it bubbled, Tsuâtey observed you in silence. He thought you were strange-looking, but not like Jake. To him, Jake was ugly. You had something intriguing about your appearance. Pretty, although Tsuâtey had a hard time getting used to it. But the compliment he wanted to grant you was immediately pushed to the back of his mind when he heard your frightened scream. You noticed an arachnoid crawling up your thigh and shrieked out of fear, violently shaking your leg to get it off. Spooked by your sudden outburst, the horse loudly neighed and fled through the air. Tsuâtey quickly jumped to his feet, but when he saw the reason for your shrieks, he felt his blood boil. In your defense, you had heard stories of poisonous arachnids of Pandora and you werenât taking any chances.
So here you are, trudging along behind, with ears pressed flat against your skull. Tsuâtey had scolded you, blaming your weak spirit for the consequences. Since you were too far from the Hometree, and the horse was long gone, you had to continue the rest of the journey on foot. Which meant more hours spent with you.Â
The silence that follows is almost unbearable, broken only by the sound of your footsteps and the occasional rustling of leaves. What Tsuâtey did not expect was for you to be so slow. He almost gave up on the plan, contemplating going back to the village and fetching another horse. He even entertained the thought of taming a palulukan in case of an attack. In the worst case, he'd end up dead and wouldnât be forced to care for you for another minute.
︾âżď¸ľâżď¸ľâżď¸ľ
As the day wears on, and the sun starts to set, casting a warm orange glow on the surroundings, you decide to voice your concern.
âDo you think weâll make it to the facility by night?â
Tsuâtey throws a glance at you over his shoulder, letting out a bitter chuckle. You grimace at his reaction.Â
âGot it,â you bite your lip.
He comes to a stop, and begins scanning the area around him. You wait for further clarification but he ignores you completely, then starts gathering twigs into a small cone.
âWe will camp for the night,â he finally says, gesturing at you, âGather some more, and stay here. I will be back soon.â
You discover that âsoonâ meant different things to you and Tsuâtey. While you assumed he would be out hunting, the chilly air made you decide to start the fire and keep an eye on it, so it doesnât die out. You hadnât realized how tired you were, the warmth radiating from the small fire was making your eyelids droopy. You tried to resist sleep to prove to Tsuâtey that you were capable, but you couldn't hold out much longer, nestling on the ground.
︾âżď¸ľâżď¸ľâżď¸ľ
Tsuâtey nudges you awake with a gentle touch, and you catch a whiff of a delicious aroma. As you open your eyes, you see him crouching in front of you, holding a piece of meat wrapped in leaves. Your mouth waters at the sight, and you eagerly take it from his hands and devour it. Tsuâtey can't help but chuckle, as he watches the satisfied grin spread across your face.
âSlow down,â he says softly, motioning for you to take a seat next to him, closer to the fire.
You watch him roast a smaller piece of meat and put it in his mouth. Instead of savoring the taste, Tsuâtey chews on it while continuing cutting up more pieces. You feel a little guilty that he prepares food for the both of you but doesnât take a moment to enjoy it.
âCan I help?â you ask, moving closer to him.
He doesnât answer, instead pointing to the knife on your belt. When you take it out, Tsuâtey pierces a piece of meat on the sharp tip, and motions for you to hold it over the fire. You follow his orders, watching the meat slowly cook as the aroma hits your nostrils and your stomach grumbles.Â
This must be the first time he sees you do something right. Tsuâtey nods approvingly as he watches you carefully turn the meat over the fire, your knife skillful in your hands. A comfortable silence hangs over you, as you both start eating.
âWe will continue our journey early in the morning,â he breaks the silence, âWe must move quickly and return back as fast as we can. âDonât want to camp out in the forest for another night, it can be dangerous.â
You only nod, agreeing with his plan. It was rare for him to keep you informed anyway, so you werenât going to doubt Tsuâtey.
âYou donât trust that I can help, do you?â
âI am not sure,â he admits, âBut if Toruk Makto trusts you, I can give you a chance to prove yourself.â
âYour prejudice against me is ironic,â you scoff, âJake was just like me once, before becoming Toruk Makto.â
âNot just like you,â Tsuâtey chuckles, shaking his head, âYou are too weak.â
âI am smart,â you argue.Â
Tsuâtey hums in agreement. There is some truth to his words, you have shown weakness. Adapting to a completely new environment, getting used to another culture, suddenly being forced into hours of physical activity that you werenât committed to. At times, it would get too much but the support of the clan was all the validation you needed to stay.
âI know you donât believe me, but Iâll do anything to help your people,â you face him with new confidence, he hasnât seen in you yet.
âYou betray your own?â Tsuâtey frowns.
âI have no other choice. They are destroying everything because of greed,â you shake your head in disappointment. He nods.
âAnd your family? You left them too?â
âI donât have one,â a bitter chuckle escapes from your lips, âThey donât claim me anymore. And I donât claim them.â
âSo they disowned you?â
âPretty much,â you shrug, âThey think that I am betraying them because I want to protect the life on Pandora.â
âIt must take great strength to go against your family,â Tsuâtey compliments you.
You shy away from his softened gaze, warm feeling spreading in your chest from the kind words. It was tough to be one of the engineers who worked for RDA and had to betray them. But you couldnât stand the idea of contributing to the destruction they were causing. It was why you first found Jake and warned him about the impending danger. And it was then when you first felt welcomed by the clan, cared for.
Now, you needed to sneak back into the facility and retrieve the equipment you left to track the future attacks. Tsuâtey was assigned to accompany you since it was dangerous to go alone. Even though most of the team at the facility shared similar opinions and wouldn't stop you, there was still a risk of encountering RDA guards. Getting caught would mean you could never return.
As the night wears on and the fire grows smaller and smaller, you and Tsuâtey continue to talk. Youâre surprised by how he opens up to you, and how he doesnât protest when you tell him about your past. Eventually, you feel your eyes growing heavy and your head nodding off to the side. Tsuâtey notices and stays up to keep an eye on you, making sure youâre safe while you sleep.
︾âżď¸ľâżď¸ľâżď¸ľ
When you wake up in the morning, you feel slightly restricted around your middle. You huff slightly, trying to move, as you realize that Tsuâtey is sleeping beside you, with his leg thrown over yours, and his arms wrapped around you. The closeness of his body sends a flush of heat to your cheeks, and you feel butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
âTsuâtey,â you nudge him, âWake up.â
It doesnât take much to rouse him. You guess that, as a warrior, he was trained to be sensitive to sounds around him. Tsuâtey grunts heavily before blinking a few times, adjusting his eyes to the light. When he realizes how close your face is to his, he almost recoils.
"For someone who seems to hate me, you're very protective," you tease him, patting his arms playfully.
âMhm, couldnât risk you rolling into the fire in your sleep,â he grumbles, freeing you from his grasp.

pairing: jake sully x neytiri x tsu'tey x fem!human! reader summary: a scientist arrives on pandora (unwillingly) a year after the exile of the rda. now she must deal with the likes of a clan leader, a great warrior, and a thanator rider. word count: 6.3k warnings: mentions of suicide (not explicit!)
read on AO3
Tsuâtey remembered when he first came back from death.
It was like clawing out of the ground and feeling as though there was dirt filling his lungs. He remembered Arvok hugging him and crying into his shoulder when he found him awake. He remembered his father sitting nearby and quietly thanking the Great Mother for this second chance, for this mercy, even though they didnât deserve it. He remembered his mother calling him a gift and that Eywa favored him, that he was the true and chosen Oloâeyktan to the People. Like he was some type of god that Eywa created herself.
He remembered feeling so horrible that his mother didnât even see him as her son anymore. But a god of sorts. An idol to look to.
Someone so perfect that no one, not even a demon or the daughter of a âsimpleâ Tsahik deserved his attention or praise.
The People celebrated once they learned that Tsuâtey had survived the battle, even when all the odds were against him. In a way, they looked to him as some sort of god too. Not to the extent that Artsut did but idolized him, nonetheless. Tsuâtey remembered feeling frozen as if he were turned to stone, hardened into an empty vessel.
He didnât feel like himself. He just felt exhausted.
All. The. Time.
And no matter what he did, that exhaustion or feeling of wanting to sleep for a long, long time, never left him. He was just stuck in this state where he was both living but half buried in the ground.
It wasnât until Tsuâtey confessed to what he was feeling to Jake who then put everything he felt into words that he could notâstill couldnâtâquite understand.
âItâs a common thing we humans feel,â Jake explained once when it was just the two of them in the middle of the night.
Sitting in a tree, watching a lively celebration far below. That world seemed so far away at the time. And it was then that Tsuâtey felt like the god his mother praised him to be. Disconnected from the world that he so cherished but watched over them with a protective heart.
âThat exhaustion, truthfully, that probably wonât ever go away. This depression can wear us down until all we want to do is sleep without worrying about waking up. Living doesnât feel the same anymore. Almost like itâs a burden to both you and everyone around you. And then comes the exhaustion.â
Tsuâtey stared at Jake, both thoughtfully and to memorize every detail of the dreamwalkerâs face. âHave you felt this?â It was the predictable question at the time. He seemed to know exactly what Tsuâtey felt, so much so, that it sounded as if he lived throughâstill went through this experience.
Humans were as peculiar as they were dangerous. They hid their feelings. They didnât allow themselves the freedom to feel as if someone or something was holding them back. They were often birds trapped in a steel cage when the way out was right in front of their face.
That was a certain observation one would notice if they paid close attention. Tsuâtey paid Jake a lot of attention. Memorized his micro-expressions. Noted the way he hid behind an impenetrable wall with a single window he only allowed certain people to look through.
Itâs what Tsuâtey imagined loving Jake would be like. Finding ways to climb over that wall to embrace that lonely soul on the other side.
Which was why he was keenly aware of the fact that Jake never answered his question. But instead said, âMany people donât always have someone to keep them above the surface. That is why most end up drowning forever until they fall asleep. Itâs okay to feel these things, even if theyâre hard to acknowledge. And if you need to talk, Iâm always here. Iâm too human not to help you, even if you donât approve of me.â
While Jakeâs words were somewhat flowery and cautious in delivery, there was Neytiri, who grounded him with her very blunt words.
âYou are not a god. You are Tsuâtey.â
She did not see him as a god. And he was grateful for that.
Perhaps that was why he so easily fell for her after the war. Or, rather accepted his feelings after forcing them back because of his guilt with Sylwanin.
You did not see him as a god.
And he was relieved by that.
Yet that relief would soon be buried beneath the horror of something else he saw whenever looking at you.
It was himself.
Half alive. And half buried in the ground.
And Tsuâtey had this strong urge to start digging at the ground with his bare fingers. Until his nails were filled with dirt. Until his clean skin was dirtied. Until they bled.
He owed you that much.
âThat demon did this!â His mother, Artsut hissed while she knelt next to Arvokâs sleeping body in some form of protection. She stared up at him, pleading, desperate, and angry. âWill you let that creature run free like you did before? Look what that thingâs done! Sheâs hurt your blood! Be Oloâeyktan and exact punishment on the ones that hurt your family!â
âReeds didnât do this.â His mate, Jake protested calmlyâas calmly as he could when it came to Artsut. His arms were wrapped around him so tightly his muscles twitched whenever he moved, tail lashing behind him as he continued. âArvok had already explained what happened. The Tipani warriors were going for Hellâs Gate. Arvok had tried to stop them, they got pissed and injured himââ
âAnd whoâs fault is that?!â Artsut snapped viciously, eerily resembling that of a palulukan. âIf that demon hadnât landed here none of this would be happening!â She turned her fiery gaze onto Tsuâtey, her pleading becoming more adamant as she spoke. âYou must kill it! This is your doing, you never shouldâve let it live! And now our clan is in danger because of that creatureââ
Jake scoffed, his tail swinging now, âYouâd love that, wouldnât you?â
Artsut hissed at him, âYou do not deserve to speak, demon! I should have connived my son to kill you the first day you came to usââ
âEnough!â Tsuâtey hissed as he stalked forward and grabbed his mother by the arm.
âTsuâteyââ She tried protesting only to be interrupted by his hiss.
âBe quiet, mother.â He led her out of his shared hut and went outside.
Once they were further away from the entrance, he let her arm go.
âMy sonââ
âNo, mother.â Tsuâtey didnât want to hear any excuses or laments that would make him feel awful for putting her in her place. âIâve warned you and youâve gone too far many times now. You are my mother, I do not wish to remove you from my childrenâs livesââ
She gasped and grabbed his wrist, âDo not be so cruel to your mother! You would prevent me from seeing my own grandchildren?!â
âYou do not even accept the one son that I have!â Tsuâtey snapped but stopped when her eyes widened. He did not wish to shout. He did not wish for any more division. But she wasnât making it any easier on him. So he continued slowly, âJakesully is my mate. Neytiri is my mate. I will not allow you to keep disrespecting them. They are a part of my life, they make me happy. Shouldnât that be what you wish for your own son? Do you not want me to be happy?â
Artsut scoffed in disbelief as if what he was saying were unbelievable, âOf course, I do. I wish for nothing but eternal happiness for my one and only boyââ
âI am not your only child.â He said gently, his heart falling. âYour son nearly diedââ
âI know this! Do you think I do not know?!â Her eyes became glassy, her grip on his wrist tightening. âBut know this, son. I do want your happiness. That is what any mother wants for her children.â
Tsuâtey watched her with a frown. He wished, he really wished he could believe her. Maybe a part of him didâwanted to. But he couldnât help this unease in him whenever she was around him and his mates. Heâd always feel her disapproval. No matter what flowery words sheâd say, she would not change her opinion of Neytiri, Jake, Neteyam, and even their unborn little one.
But today he would not push any further. Today he was simply too tired.
âYou should return to your home.â He told her and pulled his wrist free from her grasp. âArvok will stay with us tonightââ
âTsuâteyââ
âIt is closer to the Tsahikâs where she can come and go freely to check on him.â He turned his back to her as the next words spilled out of his mouth like blood. âI do not want you near during that time. Or for a while. Not until I say you can come.â
There was a beat. And then there was sniffling. Tsuâtey refused to look at her. âYou are abandoning your mother! You would do this to your own mother, who carried you for so longââ Tsuâtey ignored her words and ignored the pang in his chest as he forced himself to walk away. âIt is that demon that has done this to us! They keep destroying everything we hold dear! If you will not kill it then I willââ
At that, Tsuâtey whirled around and stalked toward her as he spoke warningly, âYou should be thanking Eywa that your son isnât dead! You should be thanking our Great Mother that the demon had brought Arvok back instead of leaving him for dead! You should be thanking her that the arrow did not hit him but the demon instead! And yet here you are, plotting to kill Eywaâs favored!â
At this, Artsut scoffed, âEywa would not favor a stain on her beautiful creationââ
âAs Oloâeyktan I order you to stay away from the deâŚâ He winced, not wanting to sound as venomous as his mother did. ââfrom the dreamwalker. I will carry out the will of Eywa as I intend to do. As this clan is intended to do. And because of that, she is under my protection now. She has saved my brotherâyour son. She has earned this right. You will leave her alone.â
âAnd what if I donât?!â Artsut shouted as Tsuâtey turned his back away from her and began stalking back to his hut. âWill you punish your own mother?! Will you kill me?! Tsuâtey? Tsuâtey, answer me! Do not turn your back on me! Tsuâteyââ
Her cries continued to ring in his ears, making him tremble.
He did not feel like a god.
He just felt like a failure.
Failure of a son.
Failure of a mate.
Failure of a leader.
He did not return to his hut.
You were lost. That was fine.
To be honest, you werenât even focusing enough to go where you wanted. Frankly, you werenât even sure how to get to your motherâs burial from here. All you did was wander around until you were far enough from the clan, until all you were surrounded by was forest until your legs gave out to the point where you couldnât walk anymore.
There was a large leaf nearby, big enough for you to duck under it and sink to the ground as it covered your head from the rain. There was still a bit of daylight out, so you had more than enough time to stay there. Because getting back up was going to be difficult.
And you werenât even sure if you wanted to keep going.
Your motherâs songcord was dangling from your hands now as silent tears spilled down your cheeks. You cried. And cried. And cried. And cried. And cried. Until you were hallowed. Until you werenât sure if there was anything left of you at this point.
God, you hadnât cried in so long.
You were dead. Your real body was dead. That wasnât even your choice either. You had been poisoned, you died, and now you were in a new body.
None of it had been your choice. You didnât want this. If you had the choiceâif it were really up to youâyou wouldâve let the poison kill you. Anything was better than living in this hell where everything just seemed to be against you.
No matter what you did to make your situation better, something always came along and tackled you back to the ground, pushing you further and further until you began sinking again.
Death couldâve ended all of that.
But even that choice was taken out of your hands.
You couldâve done it now.
You couldâve gone back to Hellâs Gate, grabbed your knife, andâŚ
Andâandâandâ
For a moment, your mind was quiet as you stared at your motherâs songcord. As you stared at the bone that ended the string.
You were a coward.
Something rustled a few feet away from you. Your body froze and considered the sounds around you. The rustling continued, drawing a little too close for your comfort.
With that, you ducked from under the leaf and moved away from the sounds.
Because even if you somewhat wanted to die, you sure as hell knew it wouldnât be at the hands of a palulukan.
No. You were just a coward.
Dying took bravery. And you didnât feel too brave at the moment.
All you could do was stagger forward until you found something to latch onto. To take you away from this until you felt brave enough.
Until then, you kept wandering through the forest. Letting rain pour onto your already wet and somewhat matted hair.
You tugged at one of the locks and hummed to yourself. You should do your hair.
At that, you kept going until eventually you found a waterfall. By then the rain had finally let up, the air was cool, and the smell of rain stayed with you despite the downpour disappearing.
It wouldâve been calming if you allowed it to be.
The area itself was beautiful even in this dreary weather. You found a rock just a few feet away from the mainland and jumped onto it. Sitting down with your legs crossed, you leaned over the edge a bit, staring back at your reflection in the water.
Well, you supposed you looked as horrible as you felt. Your hair was one of the main things contributing to that. The braid that Neytiri made was still intact but the rest of your hair was just a wild mess. It was beginning to mat together and form dreads.
So, not particularly happy with the look and wanting a good enough reason to distract your hands and mind, you began doing your hair.
Diving into the waters wasnât a good idea considering your healing injuries. Instead, you ducked your head into the waters. It was nice. Feeling the cool water against your skin, waking you up slightly. You wouldâve stayed like this for a while and you did, considering you could hold your breath for a while.
The tension in your muscles relaxed and right when you were feeling yourself being pulled to sleep, something yanked on your queue, bringing your head out of the water and causing you to fall onto your back.
âOw!â
âSkxawng!â You looked up only to regret it when you found Tsuâtey scowling down at you. âWhat do you think you are doing?!â
You rolled your eyes and tugged your queue out of his grasp, âObviously I came to drown myself. Congrats, you just saved the inconvenience.â Tsuâtey frowned, looking incredibly serious. You looked up at him and sighed, âIâm kidding. Do you guys not make depressing jokes now and then? Or is that only a human thing?â
He didnât respond and you werenât exactly waiting for one. Instead, you turned away from him and began parting your hair. You didnât have a comb so running your hands through your thick curls was the best you could do for now. The best you could do at this point was take two strands and begin twisting them.
Tsuâtey appeared next to you, looming and watching you do your hair with a huff, âYouâre doing that wrong.â
You glared, âI know how to do my own hair thank you.â
He didnât move and you ignored him as you kept going with your hair. That was until you felt longer fingers wrap around yours and remove it from your hair.
âHeyââ
You felt his hands in your hair. Instantly, you went to yank yourself away from him only to stop when you felt his fingers move. It wasnât rough or harsh, it was actually rather careful and precise. Any other day you wouldâve shoved him away and told him to never touch your hair again but seeing as his braids were pretty neat and concise, you reconsidered.
Hell, maybe youâve lost it. You were seriously letting Tsuâteyâthe man who hated you the mostâdo your hair.
Maybe when you died you somehow went into a whole other universe. Yeah, that had to be it.
He was mumbling under his breath in Naâvi. You caught some words here and there like âhumansâ and âuselessâ a few times. But other than that his voice had been too quiet and quick for you to understand or at least translate some of the things he was saying.
Eventually, his hands disappeared from your hair. âThere.â You watched as he stepped away from you to grab a bow from the ground, stretching his fingers, his face turned away from you so that you couldnât see his expression.
You felt your hair to find some of it braided while the rest wouldâve been left to mat together again. You tugged on it thoughtfully, perhaps you could let them turn into locs. It would be easier anyway. A lot more manageable considering you often forget to do your hair these days.
Next to you, Tsuâtey had also grabbed an arrow and approached the edge of the rock, pointing his bow down at a group of fish floating around the rock the both of you were on. You halfheartedly watched as the arrow flew into the water seconds later and hit one of the fish.
Absentmindedly you tugged on another braid as he went into the water to grab the arrow, âThe Tsahik is looking for you.â He took the arrow from the water and yanked the fish off the tip. âShe says you should not be up right now but resting. She is very upset at your disappearance.â
You didnât respond. Tsuâtey looked back at you expectantly and you frowned, âSo you came looking for me?â
A part of you was half-joking and half-annoyed when asking the question. You just wanted to be alone for a while. And dealing with Tsuâtey was the last thing you wanted right now.
âYes,â Tsuâtey responded easily as he threw the dead fish to the spot next to you. You cringed away from it as he drew back another arrow. âAnd by the time I am done here, you will be coming with me to be checked by her.â You glared at the ground. A beat went by. âI will not take no for an answer. Your wounds are still healingââ
âCan we just, can we wait for a while?â You dropped your hands from your hair and into the waters. âI justâI need a place to breathe, okay? Back there, itâs just too suffocating. And I really donât want to fight today. Iâm too tired, so pleaseâŚâ
You didnât look at him. But you did hear the arrow release and hit the water. Another beat went by. The waters slushed as he moved, âSo you came here. For peace.â
It wasnât a question but more of a statement like he understood it.
And reluctantly, you nodded in response.
For a while, you were quiet. Both of you. Tsuâtey grabbed the arrow and tossed the fish onto the rock. The water filled the silence, bringing you a sense of comfort in this long silence. You didnât feel obligated to speak and Tsuâtey didnât bother to conversate either. A big difference between him and Jake who would probably be talking your ear off with stupid jokes and infuriating jabs.
Not that it wouldnât help a bit.
But right now, all you felt was exhaustion. Even Tsuâtey allowed himself to appear somewhat tired, at least from what you saw whenever his face was turned in your direction.
 âI thank you.â
You looked at him then, his back was still turned to you as he continued, âFor saving my brother. Arvok. The arrow, he could have died if you hadnât taken it for him. Youââ
âAnyone wouldâve done it.â You shrugged off, not wanting this type of attention. Especially not from him. What you did may have been somewhat heroic but you sure as hell didnât feel that way. âYou donât have to thank me.â
âBut I will.â Tsuâtey drew his arrow back again. The arrow flew again and hit another fish. âEven when I treated you horribly. You still saved him.â
You frowned and shook your head. His thanks for some reason made you feel worse. You didnât know why but you wanted it to stop. âLike I said, anyone wouldâve done it if they were in my position.â
âHmph.â Tsuâtey tossed the third fish onto the rock and jumped back onto the rock with you. He grabbed the three fishes by the tail and nodded toward the forest, âCome, we should head backââ
âNo.â
You heard him sigh, âDreamwalkerââ
âI canât go back right now.â You blurted out, your hands clenching into fists as you glared down at your reflection. âI just canât, okay? I canât go back and face the pitiful looks Norm will send me. I canât go back to Neytiri telling me that Eywa saved me or gave some fucking second chance that I had no say in. I canât go back to hear Jake apologize over and over and over again until I go fucking crazy! I just canât!â
You buried your face into your hands, not wanting to look at him, not wanting to face the world. All you felt, all you wanted to do was just crawl into a hole and hope that everyone left you alone. You hoped that you could lie down and become stone. You hoped you could become the tragedy that was amid the beautiful Pandora.
You hopedâYou hopedâYou hopedâ
Something within your body told you that you were crying but no tears came.
Half alive and half buried.
Until they bled.
Something heavy landed on top of your head. It took you a moment for you to realize it was a handâTsuâteyâs hand. You dropped your hands from your face and frowned, reluctantly looking up at him to find him staring back at you.
God, these people were straightforward when it came to expressing themselves. Even Tsuâtey, who you considered the hardest to read out of the three.
âIt is sad.â Tsuâtey squatted down next to you, his hand gently ruffling your hair. Your ears twitched, âI am sorry.â
You were taken aback, to say the least. Never in a million years could you imagine Tsuâtey out of all people, comforting you. Frankly, you never thought he felt anything toward you to enact such a strange reaction from him. And yet you didnât move. Too afraid that if you flinched then he would take his hand away.
A part of you felt awful that he had to do this. And a part of youâŚ
âYou donât have to do this.â You mumbled.
He huffed, âI do what I want. And I choose to be here. You saved my brother.â
âThat doesnât mean you have to comfort me.â This unyielding guilt was overwhelming, You almost wanted to shove his hand away. âI feel like Iâm using you.â
âThen use me.â
You shook your head again, his hand remained firm, âYouâre impossibleâas usual.â
âHmph.â
The both of you stayed like this for a while longer. It was getting dark. Creatures would start coming out soon. Perhaps you should stop being so stubborn and move already.
Tsuâtey didnât say anything though. He was rather still and quiet. You looked over, for a moment wondering if he was asleep.
Only you found his yellow gaze staring at something intensely. Frowning, you followed his gaze.
Floating toward the both of you was an atokirina. Huh, you hadnât seen one of these in a while. And even now they were still as pretty as you remembered them. Last time there were multiple, but this time it was one.
You stood and Tsuâtey followed seconds after.
Even for this, you remained still. As if moving would somehow scare it off. Tsuâtey mustâve had the same thought, standing as still as a statue next to you as the atokirina floated over your heads. The pure creature hovered over Tsuâteyâs forehead for a bit until it came over to you, tickling your nose.
Tsuâtey watched you and the atokirina in astonishment. It floated between the two of you for a moment before finally floating away.
You watched it in for a moment longer before your arm began to throb. Tsuâtey noticed you rolling your arm back uncomfortably and finally snapped out of his trance, âIs your arm bothering you?â
âA little.â You admitted reluctantly.
With a nod, he grabbed the fish and then the bow as he gestured toward the forest, âCome. We should return now. Moâat is waiting.â
This time you did not protest. You glanced back toward the direction the atokirina disappeared before finally following after Tsuâtey.
When you got to Moâatâs hut, she was already scowling at you. And surprisingly it was rather scary. So much so, that you unconsciously shrunk behind Tsuâtey so you wouldnât feel any of her wrath. Jake and Neytiri were there as well, for what you did not know, but they appeared to have been waiting for yours and Tsuâteyâs return.
âWell, now we know you are well enough to foolishly run off.â Moâat huffed as she pointed toward the spot on the floor. âSit.â
Without waiting for you to respond, Moâat dragged you to the spot and sat you down on the floor. Tsuâtey remained near the entrance and watched you silently. He hadnât said anything ever since you started your walk back to their base. You wondered if he was at all bothered about seeing the atokirina. Or if it was on his mind at all.
While Moâat wiped the dried mush from your arm, Neytiri squatted down next to you, âHow are you feeling?â
âI died.â You said dryly. âOther than that, Iâm swell.â
Jake sighed from his spot closest to Tsuâtey and the entrance, âWell, her snarkâs intact. You sure sheâs not back to normal?â You rolled your eyes, Neytiri rubbed your back while glaring at Jake.
âWe saw an atokirina,â Tsuâtey spoke for the first time since you left the waterfall. âIt came to the demon and IâŚâ He said the rest of his explanation in Naâvi. You frowned, looking at Jake and Neytiri to gauge what exactly he was saying. You watched Neytiriâs ears twitch as her eyes brightened. Then there was Jake who looked completely serious, tail swinging behind him. Moâat gave nothing away as she added more mush to your arm. You held back a scoff, irritated that you were the only one who couldnât understand a single word.
âAnother sign from Eywa,â Moâat spoke in English. She looked at you almost knowingly as she continued. âThis dreamwalker is here for a reason. Maybe for the same reason, Jakesully had come to us. Or something completely different. Perhaps this is her way of choosing a fourth for you.â
Neytiri perked up instantly, her hand squeezing your good shoulder gently. Jakeâs head was bowed, hiding his expression. And Tsuâtey just frowned. And you felt your entire face grow hot. Suddenly you were rather aware of everything around you. If you had been standing, you wouldâve fainted.
âOr maybe itâs something else?â You offered, trying to move the conversation forward instead of enduring this awkward and uncomfortable silence.
Moâat watched all four of your expressions and huffed, âCome. We will just ask the Great Mother ourselvesââ
âNo, we donât have to.â Jake stood straighter, tail lashing behind him.
Neytiri stood and sent him a look, âMaâ Jakeââ
But he shook his head, âIâm not doing it. Iâm not taking her as a mate. Thatâs not fair and you know itââ
âAnd if it is in Eywaâs will?â Moâat challenged, raising an invisible brow. âWhat then, Jakesully?â
âDonât I get a say in this?â You added, already growing irritated by this conversation.
âYeah, youâre right. You do have a say in this. But Iâm gonna make this easy for you.â Jake nodded steely. âWeâre fine as three. There is no room for anotherâespecially her.â
âFuck you!â You snapped, shooting to your feet. âWho the hell do you think you areââ
âHey, Iâm on your side here!â Jake argued. You failed to see the surprised reaction from your outburst, you failed to see the way he raised his hand as if easing you like you were a dangerous animal about to pounceâno you saw that actually. And it only pissed you off even more. âDo you want me to lie and welcome you into my family with open arms just like that? Or do you want the honest truth, Reeds? You value that, right?â
You let out a humorless laugh, skin boiling in anger now, âYou really are full of shit, you know that, Sully? So you think itâs okay to just discard me then? As if I donât have any fucking feelings? Am I just an emotionless body to you, Jake? Am I not supposed to be offended? âEspecially herâ? What the fuck is that supposed to mean?!â
âThatâs enoughââ Neytiri started only to be stopped by Moâat who watched the two of you keenly. Even Tsuâtey didnât even speak up. He didnât snap at you nor did he stop Jake. He just watched on in grim silence that neither you nor Jake bothered to notice.
âIâm doing this for youâIâm not sayinâ this just to be an asshole, Reeds!â
âCouldâve fooled me.â You snickered mockingly. Honestly, you had no idea why you were so angry. You were just tired. Tired of him. Tired of this. Tired of all this bullshit. âWell, if it makes you feel any better, Sully, youâre not exactly prize material either, so there. Why donât you just say that instead of hiding it behind some horse shitââ
âJesus Christ.â He muttered in disbelief. Jake looked to the sky, struggling to respond. Struggling to string the words together.
But it shouldnât have been that hard. âYouâre right, I do value truth, Sully. So be fucking honest and just spit it out. Enough of the trying to protect me bullshitâIâve heard enough of it and I donât need any more of it. Say what you want, donât hide now. Itâs easy when it comes to me, right?â
You were just angry. So, so angry. You werenât even sure if this anger deserved to be directed at him. If this anger was even about this conversation. You werenât even sure why you were fighting so fiercely.
Jake scoffed, âAnd you think you make being around you easy? You donât think maybe thereâs a reason I blow up at you? You donât think maybe itâs because you can be a huge asshole sometimes?â
âOh yeah, this mate shit is going to work out perfectly.â You snorted.
âI canât mate with someone I donât love,â Jake spoke more bluntly toward Moâat, Neytiri, and Tsuâtey. âI donât know how much more honest I have to be about this. I canât love someone like her. How can I? Not even a fucking miracle could ever get me to, and thatâs the truth. You happy now? Is that what you want to hear?â
The tent was silent by then. Neytiri, in the corner of your eye, had her tail lashing behind her. Tsuâtey, who stood further back behind Jake held an unreadable expression instead of his usual severity but offered nothing. Moâat just waited with her keen eyes on all four of you. She then sighed and shook her head, mumbling something in Naâvi.
You wished you werenât so affected by his words. âFine. Donât love me, Jake.â You wished your heart didnât sink to the pits of your stomach. You wished your heart wouldnât take this much hut. You didnât even want him. You didnât even want a mate.
But you were unknowable. Unlovable.
Youâve always known this. So it shouldnât have hurt so much for someone to tell you this straight to your face.
âEarn that shit.â You muttered, schooling your face into your usual impassive mask despite your achy eyes. Now you looked to Moâat who was watching you in particular, âIs that all, Tsahik?â
You failed to see Jakeâs shoulders fall and his ears lower, âReedsââ
Moâat spoke over him, âI want you back here in two days. Your wound is not fully healed yet.â She then looked at Tsuâtey, her eyes seeming to want something from him, âIs there a problem with that, Oloâeyktan?â
At this, Tsuâtey shook his head stiffly, âNo. You are Tsahik. You must continue your work.â
âMmph.â Moâat huffed in what appeared to be disappointment. âThen you may leave, dreamwalker.â
You nodded and stalked toward the entrance. Neytiri tried reaching for you but you had been too quick for her grasp to catch, âMa âtanhiâŚâ
Jake avoided your gaze as you passed him, âIâll see you later, Neytiri.â You stepped out of the hut, not bothering to look back.
After jumping down a few branches and landing on the ground, you found that two warriors were waiting for you on paâli. One of the warriors guided a paâli toward you, which you got on without much difficulty.
And without looking back, the paâli began to move. You were cold. And tired.
Half alive and half buried in the ground.
âI will make sure my warriors return her safely to the human base,â Tsuâtey spoke stiffly as he ducked out of the hut. Jake watched him go, uneasy about what his mate couldâve been thinking at the moment. It was the most difficult when Tsuâtey was like this. He was hard to read and wouldnât let up until he confessed to what he was feeling. So, all Jake had to do was wait until then.
But right now, he did know one thing.
Fuck.
Heâd gone too far.
Neytiri had watched you go just a few feet from the entrance of the hut and by the time you were long gone she stalked back inside. Jake flinched when her glare stabbed him through his thin skin when it came to her fury, âWhy did you do that? Why were you so cruel? Why are you trying to push her away?â
His ears flattened again, âTiyawnââ
âNo!â She shook her head and backed away from his reach. âYou humans and hiding your true feelings. I know you, Jake. I know what you said wasnât true and yet you chose to hurt her anyway. Why? Why do this?â
Jake frowned, his body tensing, âHow do you know this isnât how I feelââ
âBaah!â Neytiri hissed, smacking his shoulder. âEven if what you said was true, you did not need to be cruel! You do not need to hurt her! Do you even care?!â
âOf course I do!â Jake argued. He wasnât heartless. Of course, he saw how his words affectedâcontinued to affect you.
God, why did you always react that way when it was him? Why did his heart always feel heavy whenever it came to yelling at you these days? You werenât like this with Tsuâtey, you always fired back. Why was it different with him? âWhat I said was true. I am doing this for her! Iâm trying to protect herââ
âFrom what?â Neytiri hissed as if the words he was saying were false. âNo more excuses, Maâ Jake, what is it that you are so afraid of?!â
How did she do it? How did she fiercely protect you like this without a care in the world? How did she fiercely care about you without being frightened of the consequences? âYou werenât there when Artsut threatened her life.â At this Neytiri faltered, her ears lowering slightly but Jake continued before she could interrupt her again, âSheâs already being pulled into this mess with the clans. What happens if Artsut, a woman with great influence within this clan, comes for her? What happens when we take another human mate that she doesnât approve of? What then? Itâll be our fault that Reeds becomes ruined. Itâll be our fault for not being carefulââ
âThat is not for us to decide,â Neytiri told him bluntly but her face softenedâonly a bit. âYour heart comes from a good place but your words are misguided.â She gingerly grew closer to him until her hand could reach the curve of his cheek as she gently caressed it. âMake this right. Enough of this fighting. Canât you see sheâs tired?â
Moâat, who had been crushing some herbs in a bowl, did not refute her daughterâs wise words.
Jake was outnumbered. But he was also tired too.
You came back to Hellâs Gate to find a white sheet over your former body, right in the middle of a nearly empty room.
Cry. Just cry. Cry.
Instead, you stayed in that silent room. You did not look away from the body.
Half alive and half buried in the ground.
All you needed was a tombstone.
boom! chapter 9! this one chapter i was definitely nervous to write because we see jake and reeds at, in my opinion, their worst in their slowly developing relationship and a peek at the beginning of tsu'tey and reeds' future relationship.
hope you enjoyed it! chapter 10 should be coming soon!
(i'm not adding any more people anymore!)

When someone insult you
One way to cause tension and trouble for someone on Pandora will be by insulting one of their family members. As it will show, you disrespect someone you love and care about and think nothing bad will happen to them after saying hurtful words. These hurtful words can have any effect or consequences on anyone involved.

Tonowari x reader x ronal
false navi
It a good day in the village a very funny and warm day and the clan was going on with their day. The same could be said about you and the kids, as you are with them near the shoreline collect materials while the kids goofed off here and there. Making you laugh as you had looked at them being kids and making sure to have fun today.
rotox " ahh aonung no fair" aonung and shoved his brother into the water soon, gaining your attention as you look at the two boys.
aonung " oh come on I'm just playing around"
tsireya " you two are so childish" the two boys soon looked at each other and soon smirked, when they looked to their sister and before trsireya could do anything. They had tackled her into the water getting a scream from her and laughs from her brother.
tsireya " hey"
rotxo " oh come on baby sister you should of seen that coming" tsireya soon started a water fight with her brother as you stood there laugh and looking at them.
kids " mama"
y/n " be nice all three of you and not hurting each other please"
kids " yes mama" the kids had went deeper into the water having their battles still going on, as you stood there watching them. You had been standing there for a while before you had waked off.
navi women "excuse me y/n"
y/n " hello how may I help you ladies"
navi women 2 " well us and some of the clan were wondering if you are true navi or false navi"
y/n " excuse me"
navi women 3 " yes after ing the olo'eythan you have failed time to time again, to have a kids with him while ronal has three kids ... are we sure you are actually navi or just some unwanted child the great mother gave your childish parents"
y/n " that is none of your business the great mother will bless me with a child, when the time right"
navi women 4 " are we sure because if you are false navi maybe it time, to have someone become the perfect mate and perfect navi to our clan"
navi women " you have these kids call you mama when you are no a mom to them"
y/n " I will not waste me time with you all anymore good day" you were about to walk away from the women, when big splash of water, had hit the women.
navi female " ahh"
navi women " who did that"
????? " it was me" the group of women and you had looked and saw it was aonung on his IIu.
Aonung " how dare you insult my mother like that"
navi women " mind your manners young man"
aonung " you should mind your manners when you are speaking to my mother, a very import women in the clan"
navi women 2 " we are speaking to her that all"
rotxo " you are being rude toward her and we heard everything you had said"
tisreya " yes and we will make sure to tell our parents about what you said, I wonder what they will think about how you all acted" a crowd had form due to all the fighting that was going on right now.
y/n " kids"
tsireya " you will start showing our mom respect"
???? " what going on here" tonowari and ronal soon had arrived, they soon walked towards you and the kids.
ronal " ma y/n and children what has happened"
aonung " these women were insulting mama mom they called her a false navi"
ronal " false navi"
aonung " yes they said she was a false navi because she failed to give father a child"
ronal " you dare insult my wife like that"
navi women " we had been speaking what is true she has failed to have a child with the olo'eythan"
tonowaro " how dare you speak to y/n like that after everything she has done for the clan, you all make me sick and not only insulting her you insult my whole family"
ronal " my family as well" ronal had gotten closer to the women and hissed at them, making them step back from her as ronal was very mad and so is tonowari.
tonowari " ma y/n are you okay"
y/n " I'm good now"
ronal " you are hear by not allowed to come near her or the children until I and tonowari deem to far enough, and your words and actions today might reflect your families and mates as well"
navi wonen 3 " wait no please"
tonowari " enough the tshaik has spoken I will decide on the offers I was going to give your mates, but for now leave before you all do anything else ... if anyone thinks the same speak now so we can deal with you all" no one dare to speak right now as it bad idea, the women had been escorted away getting glares some everyone else. Your mates and kids had taken you home as they comfort you about the whole matter.
tonowari " dont pay them any mind ma y/n you are the perfect mate, perfect mom, and perfect navi"
ronal " yes and one day you will be blessed with a kid"
y/n " yes I know the day will come"
tsireya " we love you mama"
y/n " thank you kids and my wonderful mates" the family had spent the rest of the day together, having a good time along with making sure you are okay as well. Tonowari and ronal had made sure the group of women stayed far away from you, and the kids their mates had apologized to you and were able not to be affected of what happened that day. You knew the day will come when you will be blessed with the another child in your life and family.

EVERY CORNER OF THIS HOUSE IS HAUNTED. (1)

(wc; 3104)

Jake knew a saying; held onto it ever since he had resided amongst Naâviâ every person is born twice. While he believed that it meant that the second time is when you earn your place here in Pandora, Eywa had a clever way of broadening the idea. His very children were proof of it.
He thinks itâs the great motherâs way of compensation, perhaps a second chance for him to do betterâ to do his very best to keep them alive on behalf of those he lost.Â
While Kiri was a special case enough, you too were an odd one.Â
You are Tsuâtey's daughter. Turns out, he had someone in secret while he trained to become oloâeyktanâ when he was supposed to take Neytiri for himself. It was tabooâ absolutely wrong to become unfaithful to oneâs mate. But following the carnage of the great war, when Tsuâtey had so selflessly sacrificed his life, only then did Tsiâewa came forward; told everyone of their love and what could have been. She was a simple songstress along Ninat, but it was her round and bulging belly that caught everyoneâs attention.
It caused an uproar and understandably so. After all, Neytiri had only announced her rebellion with Jake not long before, but when the people connected the dots themselves and both stories had become one, they understood that their hearts merely yearned for another and no one should have ever dictated otherwise. Arrangements had been made and condolences were exchangedâ everyone can only look back and wish that things could have been different.
Jake was supposed to take you under his wing as a way of honoring himâ he owed Tsuâtey his life and perhaps an apology as big as so. But after your mother had unfortunately died during your birth, he knew to himself that he had to take you in; not as a responsibility, but as his own blood and flesh. His first daughter.
You were the loudest baby, he recalled. That day, Jake had rocked your body back and forth in his arms frantically, while Moâat and Neytiri did everything within their power to help TsĂŹ'ewa. Your cries were ear-splitting, enough to wake the whole clan up.Â
âJust what do I do with you,â He muttered under his breath, eyebrows knitted in frustrationâ just where do he hold you? Is he doing it right? Are you hurt? Why are you crying so loud?
âJake, the baby!â Neytiriâs shout from inside had cut his train of loud thoughts, snapping back to your bawling. He wasnât doing such a good job.Â
âIâm trying, Neytiriâ this thing wonât budge.â
Neytiri had emerged from the hut, stomping her way to Jake with a scowl. "That is not a thing, you skxawng!" she exclaimed before gently scooping you up from his arms, cooing softly to youâ though it was more like mocking him instead. âDoes Jake here make you cry?â She said, patting your thigh soothingly. âHeâs not at all pleasant to look at, but you have to get used to it.âÂ
Almost in an instant, your cries had died down. You babbled along with her, like you were agreeing with her every word. He slowly pulled himself closer to Neytiri, eyes wide with curiosity as he watched your small hands playing with her long braids. âHeh, she has Tsuâteyâs eyes,â He whispers, unable to look away.Â
The flap of the hut swinging open was the only thing that got their attention, momentarily away from yours as they looked at Moâat with anticipation. With a single shake of her head, sorrow surged their hearts, eyes traveling back to your innocent ones. They mourned for you; an unknowing child should never have to carry such grief. They had to make a choiceâ A responsibility they werenât expecting to have so early.Â
Jake mindlessly trails his finger down your stomach, gently, like you were the most fragile thing. Your little hand wraps around it and it was like you had binded his scattered thoughts into one big understanding.Â
Sully. Youâre one of them now.
Jake releases a breathless chuckle as he gazes upon his lover and you with a newfound clarity, a perspective so bright it illuminated in his very eyes. Then came an ideaâ the desire of having children of their own. Perhaps thatâs why Neteyam came after only two years. You were quite the ploy; the push they needed to start a family.
You were truly blessedâ the genius of your age was undeniable, your remarkable talent soon earning you the admiration of all who had seen it. By the time you turned six, you had already mastered many of the abilities that a hunter would needâ your skills with a bow were unrivaled by most of the children your age, let alone those who were much older than you. They'd marvel at your accuracy each time you took aim with an arrow. You could never miss. You had to make sure you didnât.Â
By the age of 12, you had already accompanied Jake in hunts. You had developed a knack for planning, coming up with routes and back-up plans that were often surprisingly effective. You have proved to be helpful plenty of times. You were quick, silentâ full of poise. They often wondered if you were an old, seasoned soul trapped inside a little girlâs body.Â
But as quickly as the spotlight had shone down on you, it left almost as soon as it had come.
(âWhat you did today was reckless, y/n.â Jake settles his bow on the table aggressively, emitting a sharp thud. You were just as frustrated, throwing your satchel down the floor of the hut.Â
The mission had gone rather wildly, with things not going along the plan. There was another airshipâ one that no one was aware of. Your instincts jolted your body, immediately throwing an explosive towards it which had it blowing all over the placeâ its pieces crashing and causing a wildfire.Â
Jake argued that there couldâve been a more safer way. One that didnât have to risk more of our resources and supplies; one that didnât have to injure the other warriors. Of course you knew to yourself that you did the right thing. You did what you had to do.Â
âYou couldâve been hurt and got others killed! Just what were you thinking?â He continued to berate you. You jest that if this went on, thereâd be steam visible above his already heated head.Â
âI had to take a riskâ not everything goes to plan and this is proof of it.â You answered back with a scowl, âIf I hadn't, there wouldâve been more casualties.âÂ
âThatâs not a call for you to answer to! Jesus Christ,â Jake runs his palms down his face, grunting, before looking back at youâ expression suddenly tired and soft. âCome on kid, whereâs that sweetheart who always listened to what I said?âÂ
You had scoffed, a hurt forming on the pits of your stomach. âThat sweetheart once had a place in plans before.â You said, eyes unwilling to look at him. It weighed in your heart heavilyâ why did people assume that you were the only one who changed? You didnât understand. âPretty sure the Jake before was a good listener too.âÂ
The wrinkle in between his eyebrows deepened in confusion, but he never was one for confrontation. With a single dismissive grunt, he turns his back against you. âIâm way past your attitude. Youâre grounded. Go.â)
As you grew, the resemblance to your father became ever more apparent. Jake started noticing the many similarities between the two of you; the way you walkedâ how you sauntered confidently through a crowd. Your braids would move along your heavy steps (and perhaps, thatâs where Neteyam got his mannerism of swaying his too.), shoulders wide and proud. You even had his signature snarl, something Tsuâtey was known for that unfortunately seemed to have been passed down to you too.Â
However, it was more than how you brought yourself. You were strong-willedâ stubborn.Â
There was another thing about you too. You didnât call Jake dad anymore. It hurt himâ left a heavy feeling on his chest every time you regarded him so distant. It was unfair that you still called Neytiri mom, why did it have to change with him? He didnât have the heart to address it. Couldnât ask you what went wrong.Â
Because he knows damn well why.Â
Loâak was enough of a headache, but you were a different kind of royal pain in the ass, more like a personal problem. It was tiresome. Petty. There was not a day that you and Jake wouldnât argue and bite each otherâs ass offâ and yet, there was never a day where you two would talk it out. The fights would blur itselves out and before they knew it, things would be back to normal, only for it to fall out again over something small. It was routine. The only thing normal for you both.Â
He missed youâ missed his baby. Just when did you grow to become so distant? When did he start to overlook you?
Youâll admit, you might have indulged in the folkâs gossip. They always had a story for everything and they have plenty about your father. Tsuâtey was a fit oloâeyktan. He had proved so in his training and determination. Of course it was a low punch in the gut when the throne had been passed to an outsiderâ a demon, most of all. It was unfair, he knew it wasnât right. A washed up marine had taken something he had worked for like it was nothing. Like he was nothing.Â
You pitied your father and you feared youâd be like himâ like nothing.Â
And history might just repeat itself. You werenât cluelessâ wasnât blind to the fact that Jake had trained your brother more. He adored him so much that the very moment he was in the right age to train, you were off to fend for yourself; trained all alone while Jake went over the routine with Neteyam like he did with you. You remembered waiting for him every afternoon because he promised that heâd make timeâ that time was yours and yours only. But as the light bled and neared eclipse and you were too cold to wait outside, you learned never to wait again.Â
They would come home soon afterâ smiles on their faces and a handful of apologies for you.Â
Soon enough, your suspicions proved you right as the people started to talk again; Neteyamâ the golden child. He would make a good oloâeyktan.Â
Perhaps that would explain the drift between you and Neteyam too. Could they blame you for it? You had lost their attention so earlyâ while you still needed them. You werenât their kid and you were reminded of it everyday. In times when you didnât know if you had space in the family hammock while they sat together, telling stories under the starry sky. You pretended to have fallen asleep everytime; back against them as you listened. In times where the family was growing and growing, until the small table wasnât big enough for everyone anymoreâ or in this case, for you.Â
(âCome on, maâite, what are you doing so far from here?â Neytiri had called for you when she noticed how distant you were from everyone. You silently scooted beside her, wooden bowl in your lap. âLook, I prepared your favorite.âÂ
It wasnât. You hated it. You hated the tangy taste of it so badly. But you had decided to eat what was left on the table after everyone had gotten their meals and there wasnât usually enough for you. Neytiri thought nothing of thatâ didnât think that you eating only scraps and dried fruit was because there wasnât anything else for you to have. She simply thought that it was your favorite and had been making it for you ever since.
You didnât have the heart to tell her. Not when she thought she had been doing well with preparing it. You kissed your teeth, smiling tightly as you lifted the food to your lips, eating silently. âThank you, itâs good.â You muttered under your breath after.)Â
But you were family; they said so themselves. When they tucked you in to sleep, when they patted your head. They were still present now, just not in the way you wantedâ not in the way you longed for. It seemed like making them angry was the only way you could have their attentionâ particularly, your dad. You could never make Neytiri mad. She tries to understand you, she does. Explaining now just seems so.. Petty. So childish, you decided to push her away instead.Â
What do you tell her? That you only let dad blow a fuse or two was because you missed him? Because you didnât know what went wrong?Â
So there goes your routine.Â
âI just donât understand why I canât be oloâeykte.â You had brought up again, lips in a familiar snarl. âYou tire me and for what? Kiri is already training to be Tsahikâ just what would my place in this clan be?âÂ
âWe are not having this conversation again, y/n. Not tonight.â
Jake had just returned from a particularly bad hunt; went home empty-handed and with a patience as thin as a strand of hair. He continued to sharpen his dagger, movements almost aggressive. Everyone immediately went out of his way, not wanting to be on the end of his temperâ not you though. You could never get a hint, it seems.
âYes, tonight! My ceremony is almost near, sir. I have been waiting.â
It wasnât like he had a reason anyway. Jake couldnât tell you because he had no reason as to why. Why couldnât you be oloâeykte? You had all the skills to be one, even more so. But in the back of his mind, a thought so deep and petty that he couldnât bear to say, tells him that the name he carried was something to gift his eldest son. Oloâeyktan was a privilege reserved for Neteyam. He never thought to have you so earlyâ he always dreamed of having a son first.Â
âWait more.âÂ
âThis is insaneâ saânok!â You had turned to Neytiri, eyes pleading. She quickly grasps your arm and tries to tug you back towards the exit, speaking in a soft but firm voice as she tries to soothe the tension.
âMaâite, why donât we go out for a walk?â She whispers. To be frank, she was tired of thisâ never of you, no. But at the way things had been. Parents arenât parents automatically just because they have had children of their own. Itâs a skill they have yet to musterâ to truly understand. She didnât know where the line between you and her had blurry along the years. Didnât know where this constant need of yours to be seen came from.Â
You jerked your arm away from her, almost too harshly. It tugged on her heartstrings, not knowing what was going on with you. âI cannot wait anymore.â You said, taking two steps towards Jake with an unreadable angerâ an anger he didnât know when had stemmed from.Â
âIs it because Iâm not your daughter?âÂ
His eyes widened. A flash of vulnerability visible in his gaze, momentarily softening his glare. âYou stop this right now, y/n.â He had stood up, tucking the dagger back to his loincloth. Jakeâs larger frame towered over you, telling you to drop itâ to leave the conversation. But you werenât backing down.Â
âI am your eldestâ! You trained me earlier than Neteyam, I have been here long enoughââ
âYou arenât ready!â He had shouted with the same fierceness, earning a dirty look from Neytiri.
âWhy wonât you see me?â Your voice had softened, borderline beggingâ just a bit, but enough for his ears to flatten in response. He knew that beneath those few simple words lay many layers of underlying meaning; emotions that have yet to be spoken.Â
But he turns his back against you dismissively anyway. âNeytiri, get her out of here.âÂ
Neytiri grabs you by the arms again, although a bit forceful now, but just enough for her to touch youâ to have you in between her arms. She embraced you, like she was trying to keep the words from escalating. She feared one of you would say something out of line; something you both would regret.Â
But on the brink of the tensionâ the severity of the situation, you had muttered. Your voice was muffled, but it was clear. The message was oh so crystal. âYou took everything from my father.âÂ
Jake grunts, âYeah? Well maybe your father wasnât enough either.âÂ
âJake!â Neytiri hisses and although Jake couldnât see her, he knew very well he was getting quite the conversation with his mate too.Â
It was a low blow. Unnecessary. A straight strike to the gut. It was a pain so bitter, you didnât want it to linger any longerâ you were nauseous. You wanted no more than to vomit everything that spiraled out of your stomach.Â
âYou want to lead so badly and you canât even control your temper. No clan wants a hot-head for a leader.â But he kept goingâ relentless and cruel. âYou ought to be someone elseâs shadow.âÂ
âBut Iâm your daughter,â Your tone had softened, almost cracking as the lump in your throat grew. Tears blurred your vision, threatening to escape as Neytiri held you close.Â
âAnd yet you never listen to meâ because Iâm not exactly your father, yeah?â With one last glance, he stepped out, passing his children who stayed just outside the door, listening. Jake opens his mouth, desperate to ease the tensionâ the discomfort written in their faces, but he quickly shuts it and continues to walks out. He had said enough for tonight. There was nothing saving his face from this. It was best if he left instead.Â
âOh, maâite.â Neytiri rocks her body along yours, drawing soothing circles on your back but the embarrassment settles in your chestâ gnawing at your body. You catch a glance of the pitiful looks from your siblings as they try to enter the hut silently.Â
How could you make a mess out of yourself in front of them? Why had you let this blown over?
You retracted slowly from your motherâs hold, wiping your tears before running the opposite way from where Jake had gone to. It was better if you left instead.

I can be a better father
Pair: Tsu'tey x Child y/n x Child spider
Warning: Sad, jake being a bad parent, tsu'tey being the peer we all love. Neytiri being a sweetheart.
Note: I had a previous version, but I wanted to make this one from scratch. But if you want to read more about "bad dad jake" HERE. I hope you like it a lot, I really enjoyed making this oneshot.
Request: (anonymous) Idk if your the one who did Jake having a daughter from a one night stand thing and him and her having a strain relationship , I was thinking if Tsu'tey is alive and him seeing her and Spider being literally outcast and kinda neglected by the humans for one reayor another he kinda adopted both of them as his own ( and proybe bit petty for Jake being the way he is he do things better) Like reader just call Jake Jake and not dad but have a good relationship with their half siblings ( they call Tsu'tey dad and he may be rough he dose care about his kids )
Avatar masterlist | Part 1, Part 2 , Part 3
If there was one thing tsu'tey liked to do in the afternoons, it was to go hunting alone. Walking through the jungle, with his bow and enjoying the silence that the jungle provided. He was very comfortable in various branches and bushes, the austrapede was right before his eyes, standing still while eating grass. Just as he was about to shoot, he saw the animal raise its head in alertness and run away. At the same time, he heard a noise coming from his feet. Looking down, he found a small creature. Little Y/N. He relaxed his shoulders, and lowered his bow. Watching as the girl was still literally sitting on he feet with a fruit. The girl was moving the fruit up and down and tapping it on the ground in order to break it.
"y/n" tsu'tey speaks softly, watching as the little girl looks up to see her favorite person. "TsuâŚlook!!!" speaks the little girl, lifting the fruit in the air. Tsu'tey laughs a little, and kneels down so that he can be at the same height as the little girl. The girl gets up from the ground, and automatically approaches the na'vi. Showing her the fruit. " I wantâŚ.hunger" y/n speaks, in a very basic na'vi language. The poor thing was trying to learn to speak na'vi and English at the same time. Tsu'tey takes the fruit in her hands, the fruit was very big for a little girl. "What are you doing here alone?" asks tsu'tey stroking the little girl's hands, noticing that she had some scratches and her clothes were all dirty. Out of nowhere, a noise calls her attentionâŚlooking up to some bushes ahead. Tsu'tey takes the girl by the arm. Hugging her in order to protect her. "Y/N!!! LOOKâŚI FOUND MORE!!!" shouts spider, running to the direction where the girl was. Tsu'tey's heart calmed down, as he saw the other human child passing by in the village.
The child run, and bumped into tsu'tey's arm which had them reached out for the child to hug him. "spiderâŚwhat are you doing here?" asks Tsutey, he knew that spider spoke the na'vi language better and was more extroverted than y/n. "We were hungry and went out hunting" says spider, playfully gesturing with his wooden bow, which tsu'tey had given him as a gift a couple of months ago. "you guys are hungryâŚwow" says tsu'tey, watching as y/n settles more on his chest. Tsu'tey noticed that spider was also dirty and his tired little face was showing. "Are you tired?" asks tsu'tey, wiping some of spider's hair. They both nod their heads. "How about we go to my hut and I help you cut this fruit?" says Tsutey, the children got happy and started jumping up and down. Tsu'tey stood up and began to guide both little ones home. He didn't have to worry much, both children knew the way very well.
It was not the first time tsu'tey had encountered these two human children. Left alone in the jungle, without parental supervision. This made him uncomfortable and annoyed him. He knew that spider was the son of the man who had hurt his clan, his planet. And he also knew that Y/N was the daughter of jake, wellâŚof the human version of jake. He knew the whole story, neytiri had told him. At first it all seemed strange to him, but with time he could understand. What he couldn't understand was why jakesully didn't love you and always rejected you in some way. Y/n was still his daughterâŚwhatever it was. But apparently he didn't understand this, which caused the man to care much more about the young children. They were both 5 years old, and he could not stop worrying about the welfare of both children. At first it was difficult for him to get close to the two children, but he got used to it.
"OkâŚsit over thereâŚand I'll help you cut that fruit" says tsu'tey watching the children running around the hut. Laughing and playing as they sat down where tsu'tey had ordered them to. The man reached for a container of water and a cloth. He had to clean the children up a bit, it pained him to see them so careless. He sat down next to spider, while y/n sat on his lap. "TsuâŚI want a giant piece" says spider, yelling a little. Tsu'tey tapped him on the glass of his mask. "SpiderâŚdon't screamâŚI'm right here beside you" says tsu'tey laughing as he watched the boy get up to start playing with some toys tsu'tey had. He made some wooden toys for when they would visit him at his home. "Let's seeâŚyou know what you have to do. Hold your breath, pull up your mask and put the fruit in your mouth" says tsu'tey handing a piece to y/n. She was sitting on his lap all this time, quietly.
After the children eat their fruit, he cleans the children. Cleaning their hands, face, combing some of their hair. He even put some beads in their hair, according to him to make them look more of the clan. "How about if I make you some new clothes?" said tsu'tey. The children were so happy, spider grabbed y/n's hand, inviting her to play with him. Tsu'tey enjoyed the view, watching the children play and run around the hut. This felt so good, he always wanted a family. It all seemed so far from realityâŚhe had gotten the idea that he was never going to find his mate. And that he would never have a family. So he enjoyed these moments with the children. After a fun afternoon for him, he decided to take the children to their respective homes. That was the ugly place which humans called 'laboratory'. Tsu'tey had the children carried in his arms, spider was on his neck holding his head, while y/n was on his left arm. The child was holding a little flower she had found on the road. "Y/N!!!" a somewhat loud voice was heard from the distance, tsu'tey watched as jake approached him. The man approached tsu'tey, and tried to take y/n in his arms. But the little girl clung to tsu'tey's arms. "Come hereâŚwe have to go home. Where had you gone?" asks jake, his tone of voice sounding annoyed. "They were in the jungleâŚboth children" says tsu'tey holding both children tighter. "I think they ran away from me andâŚ" jake started to give an explanation.
"There is no excuseâŚyou have to be more aware of them. If you don't want y/n, at least watch out for their safety," tsu'tey says even more annoyed. Jake remains silent, he knew his friend was right. Jake did love you, but he didn't have the same connection he had with his children. He was never there during your pregnancy, or in your first years of life. So to himâŚy/n was just another child. Tsu'tey carefully handed both children to jake. "Take them to a safe placeâŚplease" tsu'tey talks, while releasing the little ones. They didn't want to get away from him. Spider was whining and y/n was starting to cry. Tsu'tey gave him a little kiss on the crown of his head and said goodbye to the children. Watching as jake tried to soothe them. It broke his heart, how he wished he could stay with them. But how could that be possible? He could pick up spider, he had no one. But y/n? She had her fatherâŚhe couldn't go and ask herâŚthat would never happen.
That same week, the children continued to hang out in their hut. Playing and spending all day with him. He practically had two new little tails. He would feed them, which was a difficult task because of the oxygen masks. He also taught them what they needed to know to survive in Pandora. And he gave them lots of loveâŚwho would have thought that a man like tsu'tey could be so loving. He combed and cared for his children. He liked to think of them as hisâŚhis little babies. Everyone in the clan was surprised to see tsu'tey with two human children, treating them as if they were his own. They talked and said comments but he didn't care. Someone had to take care of these two orphans and he was doing it. While jake and norm were in their own worldsâŚneytiri noticed tsu'tey's new behavior toward the human children.
Unlike jake, neytiri cared about you. She always tried to take care of you, when you were in the family hut. After all, you were half-sister to her children. It was the middle of the dayâŚand she was sitting in the hut, looking after and watching her young children play. And in that group was y/nâŚplaying with lo'ak. She watched as the little girl ran up, screaming. "'DadâŚdaddy!!!'" says y/n. Running toward the entrance, neytiri turns around expecting to see her mate. But she was surprised to see tsu'tey standing in the doorframe. The man had a basket full of vegetables, and was kneeling down waiting for the little girl's hug. The girl hugs him with all her heart, as he lifts her into the air, settling her in his arms. Walking to where neytiri was. "HelloâŚneytiri. I brought something for the family" says tsu'tey, he seemed to be very happy. "Thank youâŚI am grateful" says neytiri, accepting the basket and watching as her friend sat down next to her. All the children went to greet them, he lovingly greeted them one by one.
Neytiri appreciated the treatment and love tsu'tey had for her children. That's how it should beâŚafter all he was practically her brother. After greeting all the children, Y/n hugged tsu'tey again and settled on her lap. "my pretty flowerâŚhow are you? Have you eaten?" asks tsu'tey, adjusting the girl's hair. "Yes⌠neyney gave me a nice meal" says the little girl lifting up her dirty shirt to show her stomach. Both adults laugh, neytiri reaches over and touches the little girl's stomach tickling it. She liked that nickname the little y/n had given her, neyneyâŚ.sounded so adorable. "That sounds perfectâŚlook I brought you something?" says Tsutey, pulling something out of a little pouch on his waist. Neteyam had come over, sitting right next to you on tsu'tey's lap. "Is that clothes?" asks the little neteyam, squeezing his sister. "yes, it's for y/nâŚit's just like kiri's" says tsu'tey, untangling the clothes. Stretching it out to show it to everyone, neytiri was surprised. It was small, but it was very beautiful. With feathers, and very delicate stones.
" My,my,my!!!" y/n speak, raising her arms so she could take her clothes. "KiriâŚwhy don't you help your sister change" neytiri says, while kiri took y/n's hand. Behind the two of them, there was neteyam. "We have to put a bracelet on her" shouts the boy, both adults laugh. Tsu'tey was surprised at how attached the children were to y/n, even neytiri. So the problem wasâŚjake. "She calls you dad," neytiri says, not mincing words. As she looked at what was in the basket. "She just calls 'jake' to her fatherâŚ" neytiri was about to keep talking, when tsu'tey interrupts her. "Neytiri⌠being a parent is something you earn. And I think I have done an excellent job with those children." Tsu'tey says, he was proud of his words, for he knew they were true. "I know⌠and I am very proud of you. I'm aware that my partner doesn't give her the attention that child needs⌠so you've earned that title," the woman speaks. They both stand in silence for a while.
"I think I would be a better father to her? And also for the boy?" speaks tsu'tey, neytiri now looks at him with concern. She didn't know what to tell him now, this was a difficult situation. "You meanâŚyou want to adopt them?" asks neytiri, she wanted to be sure she had listened well. "Yes, I want them to be my children. I will take complete care of them and Jake won't have to worry about anythingâŚthey will be in good hands."
Neytiri knows deep down that this is for the best. Although it was hard to believe, tsu'tey had accepted the presence of those human children. Maybe he felt sorry for them, since they spent all day alone. If Y/N was not with neytiri, she was alone with spider doing what things. She knew tsu'tey would be an excellent father, and she would support him. "I'll talk to jakeâŚbut I'm not promising anything" says neytiri, seeing how on tsu'tey's face a big smile was drawn. "She will still come and she will be with her brothersâŚI just want her to be safe" tsu'tey tries to convince neytiri. The woman puts a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Calm downâŚI will do what I can" neytiri speaks. They both looked up, when they heard the children approaching. Y/N had the na'vi clothes that tsu'tey had made for him. She also had a few accessories that her siblings had put on her. Y/N runs to neytiri, wrapping her small arms around her neck. "Let me seeâŚyou look very pretty. Do you like it?" says neytiri, arranging several pieces of the outfit. "Yessssss!!!" shouts the excited little girl. "MomâŚdid you see that I put my bracelet on y/nâŚit looks better on her" says neteyam, arranging more of the piece on her sister's arm.
"They did a great job," tsu'tey says. Neytiri fixes the girl's hair, while her brothers play with her. "HeyâŚhow do you say?" orders neytiri looking at you with a serious look. "Thank you" y/n gets shy, while thanking tsu'tey. The latter reaches over and caresses a cheek of the little one. He could already feel the excitement, hopefully jake would accept. He felt grateful to know that someone cared for her, neytiri was doing a great job in taking care of her. And if he kept the little girl, he would bring y/n every day to spend time with her. He could tell they had a nice relationship. After a while, the man said goodbye to everyone, neytiri told him that she was going to stay with y/n and not to worry. He had to go to the lab to look for spider. He had also prepared an outfit for his little boy.
When he got to the lab, he knocked on the door. Norm let spider out, the man took good care of him. But not well enough, children need to be given love and time. And these people weren't doing that. He waited patiently for his boy to come out. According to Norm, Spider was asleep and he had to get him up. After about 5 minutes, the little boy came out, sleepy. Tsu'tey carries him, and the little boy hugs him. "I brought you a surprise," says tsu'tey, lowering the boy to the ground. As he pulled out a bundle, in which his new outfit was wrapped. Spider was so happy, tsu'tey's eyes lit up at the sight of the little boy's face. So excited, for such a simple gesture. Spider took the gift and ran inside the lab to change. "Wait for me here!!!" shouts the boy tsu'tey laughs and sits down on the metal stairs to wait for the boy. He is convinced that it was a good idea to create their own na'vi clothing, this way they will be cleaner and feel more comfortable.
The day happened just as he had planned it. If everything went wellâŚJake would agree to let him stay and take care of y/n. If he was a smart man he would agree to let him stay and take care of them. If he was a smart man he would agree right away. Tsu'tey began to clear away the mess he had in his hut. There were a few toys that the children had left in the morning, he was so happy. After a while, he heard someone enter his hut, "HelloâŚ" tsu'tey spoke, noticing that it was Jake who had arrived. He quickly interrupts him. "You think you can just go to neytiri and ask her for me to give y/n to you. That's not how it works" says jake, he was a bit annoyed. This put tsu'tey on alert, how dare he complain to him if he didn't even want to and didn't even pay attention to y/n. "Are you listening to yourself⌠I'm the one who takes care of those children. I'm the one who feeds them, takes care of them and watches over them. You don't even pay attention to y/n" tsu'tey raises his voice, he is so upset. He wanted to hit this man right now, but he was controlling himself. Just then, neytiri arrives at the hut. She was agitated and you could see her worried face.
"Norm lost the children!!!" says neytiri worriedly. The woman had taken y/n to the lab in the afternoon. She handed her over to Norm, since y/n couldn't sleep all night in the hut, the oxygen wouldn't last long. But couple of minutes later, lo'ak came running to his mother saying that when he went to play with his sister and didn't find her and that norm was looking for her. And that with her was spider. Neytiri quickly tried to explain everything to the men in front of her, she felt that she had interrupted something that was about to end very badly. Hearing that spider and y/n were lost, he quickly ran, pushing jake aside and going to the lab area. Neytiri didn't even look at Jake and took off after his friend. Jake followed some time later.
Tsu'tey arrived at the lab upset, norm was in his avatar body holding a flashlight. Tsu'tey grabbed norm's shoulders, he had to tell him where the children were. "NoâŚthey said they were going to play nearby, they said something about some flowers" norm spoke quickly, tsu'tey could be quite an intimidating man. As soon as norm mentioned flowers, tsu'tey knew where both children are. He relaxed a little, but not at all, the road to that place could be quite dangerous at night. Tsu'tey started walking, ignoring some complaints from jake and some questions from neytiri. They decided to follow the man without any protests. The path was quite close, it was a place where tsu'tey used to take the children to play. A nice meadow that had a lot of flowers, bright. It was a beautiful place, but it could be a bit dangerous for two five year olds.
Arriving at the meadow tsu'tey saw two small figures in the dark, he approached slowly accompanied by jake, neytiri and norm. "And what are you two doing here?" speaks tsu'tey with a calm and sweet voice. Causing both children to look up, running a little towards the man. Tsu'tey wrapped his arms around them, sighing with relief. "I thought something serious happened to you guysâŚyou shouldn't be here at night" says tsu'tey, looking annoyed at the children. "We're sorry!!!" says both children, holding hands. Jake walks over to where the children are, carrying them. "WellâŚwe have to go" says jake, neytiri stood next to tsu'teyâŚshe knew he was upset. She took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "I triedâŚbut he's kind of stubborn" neytiri speaks. "He doesn't know how to take care of themâŚ. y/n. HeâŚ" tsu'tey turns away from neytiri and starts walking home.
He could feel several tears running down his cheeks. He felt anger and insufficient⌠he only wanted the best for these children. He himself felt strange, to feel compassion and affection for human children. He arrived at his hut, and quickly lay down in his hammock. He had to get used to the idea that he could never have his own family, that he would never be able to take enough care of these children, because they did not belong to him and although he did not like the idea, they already had their own parents. He settled down, trying to relieve himself of his feelings. He almost got his sleep, but finally after a long time he was able to sleep. The night passed quickly, and as usual he got up early. Wiping his face, not noticing anything else around him.
Out of nowhere he felt someone moving something in his hut. Turning his eyes slowly, he saw a spider looking in the basket where the toys were. Then he saw y/n sitting down, she was playing with one of the wooden ikran. He couldn't believe it, what was going on? Why were the kids here so early in the morning? "Norm said he'll bring you an oxygen capsule laterâŚso the kids can sleep in there" speaks jakeâŚhe was on the other side of the hut. Sitting on the floor. Tsu'tey is surprised, and pulls back. "What?" tsu'tey was surprised, he didn't understand what was going on. ""You're so rightâŚ.I'm a bad father to Y/N"" speaks jake. Both men talk, and begin to set the record straight. Jake knew that he wasn't the best thing for Y/N, and that he neglected her too much.
He had talked to neytiri at night, she talked to him. That it was best for Y/N to be with tsu'tey. Jake had been thinking about it all night, it was the best thing to do. Besides, he wouldn't be far from herâŚbesides, his daughter didn't call him father. To her, her father was the man in front of him the one who had taken care of her for the last two years. Like Y/N, Jake talked to NormâŚhe told him that Spider should go with Tsu'tey, that he was the best thing for these children. Jake said goodbye to both children, and walked away without looking back. Although he didn't want to admit it, it hurt him a little to admit that he was a bad father and that it was too late now.
Left alone with both children, tsu'tey sits still stunned by the situation. He could not believe it, eywa had heard his prayers. His heart wanted to burst out of his chest, he was so happy. The little girl approaches her father, and hands him the toy. She had a cute smile on her face. "You know you will stay with meâŚI-I will be your daddy" says tsu'tey, taking the hand of spider, who had come closer. Both children nodded their heads. "I promise I will take care of youâŚI promise" both children hug their new father tightly. Even though they always knewâŚthat he was their father.
ps. Thank you for leaving your request, I know it took me a long time to reply. I have had some problems with my laptop, but I will be answering them this week little by little. But don't think I have forgotten you.
